Asante sana to the village of Kairo!! You have a huge piece of my heart and I will see you next time! You have taught me so much these past 2 weeks!

My students were amazing and I loved every minute I spent with them and my coteacher @sam_ebolton 💚. They inspired me every day with their effort to even come to school to better their English even when they had worked the whole night or even if they worked all day. I will never get over how determined they are. I had students that were of the Maasai Tribe as well as locals just wanting to be able to better themselves for their careers.

I also had the opportunity to help with mixing concrete (a crap ton of it) to make pathways for the students to walk to their classrooms and even a ramp for those who had wheelchairs.

The work that @givevolunteers does here and the community they have created is amazing and so inspiring. I am so happy and grateful that I was able to go on my second trip with them. I love this company and what they stand for so much!

I met so many people that I get to call family now both local to Zanzibar and from other places around the world. Until next time💚💚💚.

Survived my second HYROX and somehow already thinking about the next one😜

My first HYROX taught me A LOT when it came to what I needed to work on as far as my my strength, endurance, and overall mental toughness. This time around, I walked into that start tunnel feeling stronger than I was the first time and I truly felt the difference.

Physically, mentally, and even in the moments when my body was screaming “WHAT ARE WE DOING?!” I felt stronger. I trusted myself more. And crossing that finish line in DC, I couldn’t help but feel incredibly proud of how far my fitness has come.

I’m so grateful that I get to challenge my body, push my limits, and see what I’m capable of. I’m grateful for every workout that got me here, every uncomfortable moment that made me stronger, and every person who has supported me along the way. A HUGE thank you to my @isi_tegacay community for being there through the entire training process and showing up for me on race day. The encouragement, support, and energy means more than I can put into words. 💚

So proud of where I’m at right now and even more excited about where I can go from here!
