What winning your first state title looks like. Greggy deserves this. He competes often, rarely misses a practice, does jedi training and even stays after every single day to get some extra work in. Everyone says they want to be a champion but very few are willing to put in the work. Last year Greggy was a noob. Wrestling beginner division at Top Gunz. Going 0-2 at Freakshow. But even then I never stopped believing in him. I knew how talented he was and it was just a matter of time before it started to click. So happy for him and the whole Marquez family. So tonight we had a wall sit competition…. Gregory would not quit‼️I literally had to stop the competition because knowing him, he would’ve gone another 10 minutes if he had too. 💪 I already know he’s going to be so sore tomorrow. 🤣🤣 The kid has a never say die mentality. 💯 You gotta love it. He embodies what it takes to be a Hammer through n through. Killer on the mat, but a kind, respectful, sweet human being off. Proud to be his coach. 💙FYI- He was in the best wall sit position which was burning his legs a lot more then everyone else. Didn’t catch it until watching the video but there’s a reason his legs were burning a lot more. I tell my kids all the time. “I can’t break you. You gotta break yourself.” Gregory does this on a consistent basis. Never shies a way from the heat. He’s a freaking 👨‍🚒 ! He lives in the 🔥. by @_alwaysxtired
