vanilla bean, hot fudge, salty sweet walnuts, MINI walnut polvorones (a labor of love, rolled individually by hand), and topped with these beautiful petit jardin gifted to me by my dear friend @kaitlinguerin and grown here in New Orleans by @its.petit.jardin

The dessert lineup @dolfys_nola this weekend 🚨

the manchego layer cake is quince- floral, salty sweet, and nostalgic

basque cheesecake- our day 1 OG

scoops are dark chocolate espresso with olive oil, roasted fig leaf (leaves foraged by our very own @kayyymurph ❤️), and new to the scoops line up….vanilla bean (my personal fave) 🍨

also…some new items to our spread of sweets! Churros fried à la minute, tossed in cinnamon sugar and served with our house made chocolate sauce. (Friday and Saturday only for now until we sell out)

The @dolfys_nola olive oil manchego cake…the first dessert that I ever put on the menu, already a staple on our ever changing dessert spread. Many variations have been done already. Blackberry and peach, blueberry, and quince “the real OG”. It changes with what we can forage and find at the market (AND my mood..🎭…oh god). The fruits may change but it is always doused in the most delicious Spanish EVOO, rained on by manchego, and has a generous crack of black pepper.

This week the manchego cake is passionfruit and guava. I love her. That is all. 🍰 by @_amandaperdomo

The scoops on the menu tonight are dark chocolate espresso , roasted fig leaf with fig oil, and (NEW to the menu) mint chip…steeped for days with fresh mint picked by yours truly…

How lucky are we to have gotten some of these beautiful little plums this week from @cherrycreekorchards, they have been slow roasted and basted in their own juices until tender….glossy, tart, and delicious…they will be served with our vanilla +Lustau sherry gelato and really good olive oil tonight until we sell out. by @_amandaperdomo

The rumors are true, I am here in New Orleans developing the dessert menu for @dolfys_nola! The first dessert on the menu is a play on the classic manchego y membrillo. It is a layer cake with the most delicious spanish olive oil, microplaned manchego, quince, and freshly cracked black pepper. Slinging slices tonight and through the weekend until we sell out.

Also, ask about our selections of housemade gelato and sorbet. Tonight we have flavors like, chocolate espresso and olive oil, toasted fig leaf, and frozen yogurt with blueberry compote. by @_amandaperdomo
