Our first home in Berlin gave us such a warm welcome: a black but super cosy wooden facade, and a book telling the building’s story.

Everything felt so coherent, so carefully considered down to the last centimetre — from the building’s exterior and its heavy front door to the smallest plumbing fixtures.

My conversation with this building became a turning point. I woke up! it’s time to turn my focus back to my design dreams! There’s a long road ahead. But hey, we’ve got a long life ahead of us! Don’t forget — it’s the 21st century!

A few notes on experiencing the spaces in these photos ⬆️ taken in Berlin by @_bankas_
