I haven't fully recovered from this weekend , braincells and body took a beating lol. For the last 4 months I dedicated myself to completely remaking this costume and most pieces were remade from scratch, when I say I dedicated myself I mean it. The Skit, I dedicated myself alot to it did alot of reasearch on how to present this character and make the effects I wanted to become true. I am so glad you all enjoyed my performance conquering skits is something im still tweaking but I think im slowly getting there. I also made another different costume for the costume change, her nightgown from the beggining of the movie, it was also alot of hours of blood sweat and tears but I think It was totally worth it because the transition worked great on stage and the costume on itself is a beautiful piece. About ECG although it is always stressful for me to go on stage (I have really bad stage fright) It was overhall a great experience which I wanna repeat again the future and im so thankful that I got to be Runner Up at the selections. Congratulations to 3rd place @missbakemono with her insane Lucy costume and our representatives @beasan_ and @windi_cos with their clean, impressive costumes and fun performance you will absolutely slay that stage and have us all proud. And also congratulations for all the contestants that shown their talent on stage, were super welcoming and gave a great and healthy backstage enviroment. I have a couple people to thank for the support along the journey my family for helping me with logistics, my friends for moral support, my partner for holding my hand when I most needed it and last but not least my helper and best friend @carmyscosplaycaravan I would've been absolutely cooked if it wasn't for her she was a true life saver, love you girl. ๐•ด'๐–’ ๐–Œ๐–”๐–“๐–“๐–† ๐–Œ๐–Ž๐–›๐–Š ๐–™๐–๐–Ž๐–˜ ๐–๐–Ž๐–“๐–Œ๐–‰๐–”๐–’ ๐–™๐–๐–Š ๐––๐–š๐–Š๐–Š๐–“ ๐–Ž๐–™ ๐–‰๐–Š๐–˜๐–Š๐–—๐–›๐–Š๐–˜ Since I was little and saw Snow white and the huntsman, Queen Ravenna always stuck with me, she was strong, beautiful and Evil her design always scared me because of the amount of detail and techniques I would have to learn to make this costume. Well I decided to 9 months ago throw myself into the snake pit! And now I am gonna represent portugal at @cosleague with the Evil Queen Ravenna. Ravenna is something different from what I've done in the past but I still feel like I outdid myself in this one (although it is far from perfect) I am really proud of myself. It has alot of new tecniques I never tried like corset making, long wings, metal work, silicone molding, hand beading many crystals, leather work and so much more. I poured my heart and soul into this costume. I hope to make you all proud this weekend at @cosleague I am very excited to be participating on this journey and I'm ready to have lots of fun. I would like to thank my family, friends and my dear boyfriend that always supported me throught the last few months, and @vasco.inglez for bringing my vision into life with photography and editing.
