Celebrating a Brother in Christ on His Journey!

Today, Rick and I had the honor of celebrating Barry’s 45th birthday over lunch. In a world where many men start coasting at this stage in life, Barry is doing the opposite—he’s leaning in, chasing after God’s heart, and hungering for more of what God has in store.

This is what ManUp3 is all about—rejecting passivity, pursuing growth, and leading with faith. Barry is a true example of a man who refuses to settle, and it’s inspiring to walk alongside him on this journey.

Here’s to another year of faith, strength, and stepping boldly into God’s purpose. Let’s keep pushing forward, staying humble and hungry!

What a fun Thursday night with these amazing people! @barryptrsn @aley__cat — Great time, great memories, and an incredible Kane Brown concert! Nights like these remind us how valuable friendship and fellowship are.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 says, “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.” True friends lift you up, celebrate with you, and make life’s best moments even better. @therocksandiego’s 22nd Annual Marriage Getaway! This was The Peterson’s 4th year attending, and it was the biggest blessing yet!

Generating tools and breaking chains, along with growing stronger in community with fellow believers that are just as committed to strengthening their marriages and deepening their relationships with The Lord has been awe inspiring.

The importance of strong, Godly couples cannot be overstated. Surrounding ourselves with other Godly married couples who are committed to growth and never allowing their marriages to go stagnant is vital. It is often said that the best gift you can give your children is a healthy marriage. As men, we must embrace our role as servant leaders within our households. Each partner should give 100% to the relationship, recognizing that marriage is not a 50-50 arrangement but a full commitment from both sides.

Challenges are inevitable, but they are also opportunities for growth. Together, we can navigate these challenges, drawing strength from our faith and the power of community. As Proverbs 27:17 reminds us, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” Let us strive to support and uplift each other, ensuring our marriages remain strong and vibrant, serving as a testament to God’s love and grace.
