Breakthrough.
What an incredible 400m final to be a part of.
Coach and I have been waiting patiently for the right time to attempt something like this and there’s no better time than on home soil.

Relay alternate in Paris plus injury & visa documentation forcing me away from last season, I felt as though I had unfinished business in the 400m. Proud of where I had gotten to, but not fulfilled with the destination. We’re one step closer now.

I don’t turn up to race often. That’s by design. But I try to make it worthwhile when I do.

Thank-you to everyone who made this weekend such a spectacle; from athletes, to coaches, to support staff and the crowd!
More to come! 🏃🏽‍♂️

Out in the semis.

An uncertain morning of scans and treatment tried to rock the boat, but I did my best to keep it steady. The decision to run was left down to me and there’s only ever one answer to that question.
45.3 from a “bad race” shows the strides we’ve been able to make this season alone.

I am still a relatively new player to this game and they say throwing yourself in at the deep end can be the best way to learn how to swim.

The home crowd was electric in their support & it’s always pleasure to wear the colours!

🇬🇧London Diamond League💎

An incredible day running circles in front of 60,000 people. This crowd was spoken about highly and they still managed to over-deliver on energy, support & noise! 🔋

45.3 in lane 1 from a race where a lot went wrong is an indicator of what’s achievable this season when we get it right.
Grateful for the opportunity to line up against some of the biggest and baddest in the game! 🌎

And so the curtain falls on the 2026 season. 🎭

This was the year it happened;
- Silver @ UK Champs (400)🥈
- Silver @ Commonwealth Games (X4x400)🥈
- Silver @ Europeans (4x400) 🥈
- Silver @ Europeans (X4x400) 🥈
- 2nd place finish @ World Ultimates

This was the year that I got to compete in front of my wife, my friends and my family for the first time.
This was the year that I spent more time than ever away from home.
This was the year that I proved if I am called upon, I will answer.

It seems as though I’ve handwritten the manual on returning from injury this season. Many said I was being too cautious; that I should have raced more early in the season and I need to get into faster races.
But whatever the path looks like, it is a relentless commitment to the craft that will deliver you where you need to be.

Excited for what’s to come!

European Championships 🇪🇺

A month ago I had never touched spikes to the track on an international stage. Inexperienced and somewhat naive.
This week I was presented with the opportunity I had only dreamed of.
Many a long night wishing my name would be called upon and that I would get chance to share the oval with the biggest names my nation has to offer.

Four 400s in 6 days. No truer test than survival.

“He who is brave is free”

Thankyou to all the incredibly supportive team staff, my teammates, the Birmingham crowd and my loved ones who elevate me to these heights.
