POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I’ve been told I live in the past. But I’m really just trying to live in the 80s, which ironically is like living in the future.

I’m either ahead of the curb in fashion, or way behind. Either way, I don’t think I’m fitting in.😉

I landed the role of a lifetime with a supporting cast to die for! ❤️

Watching this makes me emotional. Shout out to my beautiful wife and beautiful son.

A great shoot starts with hyped energy, a strong vision, and a team that knows how to bring it all together. Loved working with @auragroupe and an unforgettable cast/crew shooting for @society.nashville this year.

Who’s ready to start shooting “Part 2”? @seanckennedy77 @itsallashanti @yazzymarr

Everything right now is built for speed.

Faster cuts.
Faster dopamine.
Faster forgetting.

And I get it. I make content too.

But the work that keeps me in this is the opposite.

Stories that slow you down.
That make you think about someone you love.
That feel human in a world getting less human by the scroll.

“Deep” is one of those.

A mom. A dad. A kid.
A house full of memories, then a house full of grief.

I’m really proud of this one.
The casting. The performances. The time and care every person on this team put in.

Ten years from now I’ll be a better director.
I’ll look back and see things I’d do differently.

But I’ll still be proud of this.

That’s the standard.
Make work you’ll still stand behind after you’ve outgrown it.

Projects like this are why I keep going.
More of these.

All good things come to an end. Selling my Oliver Peoples OP-523 red lens sunglasses in celebration of the 4K release. Find them on eBay. So long OP-523’s, thanks for the memories 👊

Don’t text, just call me. I’ll answer on my flip phone. And we’ll talk about old things.

Yesterday I pretended to play DiscGolf where I also pretended to throw out my shoulder. My fake wife drove me to the ER. A fake receptionist guided us to a room where a fake DR ordered an X-Ray. The fake tech used accurate precision and a fake nurse put me in a sling and sent us home.

Pretend to say a prayer 🙏 for my speedy recovery!

Awesome day shooting with the beautiful team @sublimemediagroup

🚨🚨🚨 NEW MUSIC VIDEO OUT NOW!

And this… is what directing a real music video actually looks like.

Not just hitting record.

But building something meaningful from the ground up.

Pitching the concept.

Planning the production.

Traveling to Nashville.

Finding the right actors.

Building the right crew.

And working together to bring a story to life with intention.

Because the best projects aren’t just visuals, they’re stories that mean something.

“Deep” by Blackstone Cherry is a story about love, loss, and faith in the face of tragedy… and the hope that can still exist even in the darkest moments.

It was truly an honor to help tell a story like this. These are the kinds of videos that can reach people at the exact moment they need it most.

Stories like this have the power to encourage, inspire, and remind people they’re not alone.

In this carousel, I’m sharing a few of my favorite moments we were able to capture while bringing this project to life.

Huge gratitude to Blackstone Cherry for trusting me with a song and video this meaningful, and to the incredible cast and crew who helped make it possible.

The full music video is out now.

Go watch it.

Share it.

You never know who might need to see this story today.
