Where do I start ?! It took me a while to put this reel together because I kept looking at "before" pics and dreaded them 😩 This is just some photos throughout the first 22 weeks.. it's in order from today - January 2023. [Today on JUNETEENTH marks the first day of week 23]

I began to get back on my fitness journey this year after being tired of how big I was getting. It started with me having a fibroid bigger than a softball 🤯 That had me gaining weight, and I finally decided to take care of it and had it removed from my uterus in Sept 2021. I was then put on medicine that made me gain 30 lbs in a year 😶 I took myself off said medicine in December 2022 and decided to get back on track!

I had a goal in mind of how many pounds i wanted to lose, and i lost that in the first 11 weeks!! I weight train 5x/weekly 4am. This works well for me because I'm so busy during the day and by the night I'm too tired to do anything else other than take care of my family.

So here I am at week 23, embracing where I started and loving the journey! I used to hate looking at my fibroid scars because they had keloid, and I just hated it. I definitely didn't want to show them in or outside of the gym but got over it because I look amazing for a mom of 4!

So if you're looking for a sign.. here it is. Doesn't matter when or how you start, just DO IT! I'm rooting for you! All you have to do is STAY CONSISTENT 💪🏽🏋🏽‍♀️

And last but not least... I want to thank myself. 🤍

For showing up on the days I didn't feel like it. For staying consistent when progress felt slow. For trusting the process instead of chasing perfection.

The results I'm seeing didn't happen overnight, they came from choosing myself over and over again.

The gym has become more than a place to work out. It's my therapy, my peace, my happy place. 💪🏽✨
