“Kaitlyn is amazing and from the moment our partnership started and when I got to know her better, she took the lead on many of our activities and I have been blessed to learn from her and I love how she’s super dedicated to Fish Camp and A&M and how she’s puts in 100% in everything she does. She’s super sweet and always makes you feel at home. I’m grateful that she’s my partner and I’m glad she was a part of my Camp Byrd experience.”

“Kendal is literally the best. My favorite thing about her is how quick she is to take initiative and really demonstrate the leadership required for being a counselor. She’s become so much more confident in herself and she does it with the brightest smile on her face. It doesn’t matter what task or obstacle she comes across, she is willing to face it head on and overcome it with ease. You can see clearly how much dedication and passion she has in all of the work she’s done for Camp Byrd. Not to mention how easily we’re able to match each other’s energy and be the funniest duo in camp🤪”

“I love how Abby and I can genuinely match eachother energy!! I also love that she is so supportive of all my crazy ideas! She’s someone who I could never get tired of and I truly do be she is my perfect partz!! I am thankful to have a partner who is always there for me, lifts me up and will always be down to yap with me! Honestly I couldn’t ask for a better friend or partner! Abby brings out the best in me and helps make me a better person each day!! I look forward to getting our DG kids and being able to be there for them!! “My favorite thing about Kat is how much effort she puts into Fish Camp. She is always the first to come up with an idea for camp and finishes it immediately. Since I’m a first year, she helps navigate and makes sure we get everything done. She also has so much energy and I can tell that she is going to make our DG times so much fun😛”

“My favorite thing about Dalton is how well our personalities complement one another. We have very similar humor and his extroverted nature has helped pull me out of my shell to be a better counselor and friend to everyone in Camp Byrd. Additionally, he is very dedicated to his role as a counselor, and has been on top of deadlines and eager to help with anything and everything, and makes it fun along the way.” by @_byrdisthewryd_

“My favorite thing about my partner is how caring and genuine she is. I wouldn’t want anyone else to have my partner. I have full confidence that she will build an environment where our DG freshmen will feel comfortable and cared for. I’m looking forward to watching her build a relationship with each and every freshmen because I’m sure that they will all look up to her in the same way I do.
