Sunday resets are supposed to refresh the soul.

This Sunday, I decided to hand out small bouquets for free. One thing I love about flowers is the way they instantly bring smiles to people’s faces.

When I arrived at the park and started getting ready to hand them out, I immediately got nervous. For a moment, I almost talked myself out of it….

The moment I gave away the first bouquet, the smile on this lady’s face was priceless. It filled my heart with so much joy to know that something so small could brighten someone’s day.

When God says, “You are the light of the world,” this is what I believe He means. As Christians, we are called to carry the light of Jesus, and that light should impact the world around us—whether through big gestures or small acts of kindness.

So today, don’t be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone. You never know whose day you might brighten, whose burden you might lighten, or whose life you might touch. taken in Buffalo Bayou Park by @_candeecane
