In 1958, 16 year old Ron Smith took the field at historic Rickwood Field.

He went on to sign with the San Francisco Giants, play with the Satchel Paige All-Stars and coach at Morehouse College, building a lifetime in the game of baseball.

Tonight, 68 years later, Ron returned to the same field where his story began, this time alongside the Indianapolis Clowns.

A full circle moment at a ballpark filled with history. by @_cburg
