What a season of life!

If you’d told me I’d be playing baseball again this year, I wouldn’t have believed you. Truth is, playing again wasn’t even on my mind.

Then came an opportunity from @yellowtuxjesse that I couldn’t ignore: The @theindianapolisclowns

For me, it was never just about putting on another uniform. It was about honoring a name, a history, and the people who helped pave the way. Their stories deserve to be told, celebrated, and NEVER forgotten. If I could play even a small part in keeping that legacy alive, that was reason enough to say yes.

Being selected first overall in the Banana Ball draft was an incredible honor. They took a chance on me. I took a chance on them. And I’m so thankful we did!

After years of knowing baseball one way, I stepped into something completely different. New rules, new energy, plenty of surprises…and a whole lot of FUN! This game still found a way to challenge me and make me appreciate it all over again.

To everyone at Banana Ball, thank you for believing in me and welcoming me into something special. To my teammates, coaches, and everyone behind the scenes: thank you for the laughs, the competition, the relationships, and the memories.

And to the fans… THANK YOU! ❤️ The energy and joy you brought every night were unbelievable. A season’s meaning can’t always be measured by the standings.

My hope is that somewhere along the way, someone saw “Indianapolis Clowns” across our jerseys and felt inspired to learn the history behind that name. Because that legacy matters long after the final out.

I wasn’t looking for another season of baseball. I was looking for a chance to honor something bigger than myself. Somehow, I found even more to be grateful for.

I came for the history. What I found was so much more! 🤙🏾

THE CLOWNS REALLY DID THAT.

A debut season in Banana Ball, but a name with a whole lot of history.

Indianapolis, what a way to bring the Clowns back.
