🌿 JUNE SOCIAL HIKE – CAUSEWAY COAST 🌿

Join us on 20th–21st June for a relaxed social hike along the beautiful Causeway Coast where we will be walking from Portballintrae to Dunseverick Castle ✨

• 12km
• Moderate difficulty
• Mostly flat terrain (hiking boots still required)
• Approx. 3–4 hours
• Dog friendly (on lead)
• 10:30am start

After the hike, there’ll be a mindful yoga session with our lovely @_chanelle_o to help stretch out, reset and unwind together 🧘‍♀️

There’s also the option for an overnight stay for anyone who wants to make a weekend of it — a chance to hang out with fellow hikers over some good food & a few pints after a day in the sun. Please note: Everyone will book their own accommodation - options to link up with other hikers in the groupchat once you’ve secured your place.

Spaces are limited at 25 spaces and offered on a first come, first served basis.

A little throwback to this special place nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas where I ended my trip to India with completing a 10day silent meditation course.
140 strangers, from all around the world, It was something special. Of course being here, in this setting its easier to give yourself the time and space to really go deep with no distraction of your phone, news, no work to go to, no family or friend commitments and no pressures the outside world. But the real work begins when you return back out into the day to day life, and since coming back into life at home, it's been difficult to find that time and keep the practice up. A practice that is so beneficial - is put to the back burner. While things like scrolling aimlessly is something that is done without a thought. Constantly exposing ourselves to distraction.
Although I would love to run off to the Himalayas and get myself into that clear thinking state again... I feel I need to learn how to create that space to breathe and find that connection here in the every day life. So yeah, this is a little reminder to myself mainly. I feel very lucky and never overlook my privilege to have been able to have this experience and to have this opportunity to see how life can be when we strip away alot of what the modern world is selling us.

🇮🇳 Varanasi April '25
Hectic and beautiful
- The city of death
- The city of temples
- One of the oldest and holiest cities in the world

Over 100,000 bodies are cremated out in the open on the Ganges River every year - The flame that burns the bodies is guarded 24/7 and it's said its been kept alight for 5,000 years 🤯

What an experience - a city so sacred and rich in culture. I was only able to spend a short time here but Im eager to get back and experience more. taken in Varanasi, India by @_chanelle_o

🇮🇳 Catching up on the travel posts 🇮🇳

This time from Mysore & Bangalore in March

Mysore is known to all the yogis for practice of Ashtanga and its also famous for its export of Sandalwood. So it's a pretty cool city and I'm reallyy glad I got to slip it in. It was quiet when I arrived as apparently the season had just ended for all the yoga schools, but it meant I got to of have a very sweaty 1-1 Ashtanga practice with the fabulous @lunaflow_farhan dear love him - he tried veryy hard help me get the jump back but was unsuccessful, we had fun trying and had a lovely chat afterwards. I also practiced some Hatha with @yogawithsrinatha while I was there.

Bangalore wasn't on my list of places to go in India but seeing some people I knew were there I thought I'd stop by and was pleasantly surprised. It was a really cool city.. with lots of trees and greenery and THEEEE BEST filter coffee I've ever had. They use coffee beans and chicory blend. (Thanks to @rupindersingh.ca for introducing me to yet another regional delicacy (and also for the all train back crackings) taken in Karnataka India by @_chanelle_o
