🌀 I n t e g r a t i o n 🌀

We’ve been a wee bit quiet on here the last while. Not because there’s nothing happening, but because we’ve been integrating. Pausing, reflecting, celebrating, debriefing, checking in with our bodies, minds and energy to see how this work is landing and where feels like the right direction to go next.

🌎 In a world which moves at great speed it can be very easy and habitual to jump from one thing to the next without really giving ourselves the space and time needed to deepen into what we’ve experienced and weave the learnings into our life with intention.

Some reflections to support integration after a learning experience, a season or a cycle:

Ok, strap in folks. This wedding back in June was such a highlight of my year creatively and personally. P&B have become very special people in my life and when they asked me to shoot their wedding I was like an excited golden retriever. I will never forget this day. They did their day exactly how they wanted. It was very authentic to them and you could see how much thought had gone into everything. They made everyone who attended feel special and appreciated. They had a cacao ceremony, they had drums, they had DJ’s, it was like the best festival you’ve ever been to on steroids. I honestly will never forget it :) thank you so much again for the trust and letting me be a part of your day.

Our Dingle Weekender with @outwestclothing.ie has left our hearts very full. 🫶

We spent three nights in beautiful Dingle, Co. Kerry enjoying the perfect mix of hiking, sea swims, sunshine, exploring, great food, and of course a few pints and plenty of dancing.

A massive thank you to @_shanefinn from @outwestclothing.ie for inviting us down to complete two brilliant hikes – Mount Brandon (952m) and Cruach Mhárthain (403m). The 360° views across Kerry were unreal and we couldn’t have asked for better weather to experience them.

Weekends like this are exactly why we started Head in the Wild. It’s so much more than the hikes – it’s meeting new people, catching up with familiar faces, sharing laughs, pushing yourself a little outside your comfort zone, and making memories with people who were strangers not that long ago.

We’re feeling really grateful for the community we’ve built, the opportunities that come our way, and all of the friendships that continue to grow because of this hiking club.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, whether it was your first trip with us or you’ve been around since the beginning. You made the weekend what it was. 🌻🌞

Our June hike on the North Coast was a gorgeous sunny 13km hike from Dunseverick Castle to Bushmills, followed by a much needed yoga session with our lovely @_chanelle_o 🧘

Lots of new faces. Lots of familiar faces. Lots of pups. Lots of pints. Lots of great conversation. Just the way we like it 🌞
