I really really love the location of this new Kurtosh ⬇️

Firstly, it's been a while since I've been back but Kurtosh has so many new offerings now it's insane. I was so excited to see all the pistachio-related desserts they've added to their menu because I LOVE pistachio.

The pistachio cream in the croissant was so delicious, nutty and sweet. The Princess Jasmine cookie had an interesting texture, shadowing the Dubai chocolate but in cookie form. They now have new savory breakfast options which are their toasted challah bagels and we know that savory bites make sweet bites taste better!! Finally, I also really liked the black forest and strawberry sponge cake - moist and light and delicious.

4.7⭐ Hawaiian food in Sydney?? ⬇️

📌 The Big Big Aloha, St.Marys
My first time trying Hawaiian food so I don't really have a benchmark to compare against, but I do know delicious food when I try it - and the food here definitely hits the mark.

The BBQ meats were quite tasty though the pork was just a little on the tougher side. The fried chicken had that perfect balance of sweet and garlicky and the spam Musubi is honestly so indulgent (don't think of calories) but they put this sweet sticky glaze on it that just makes you want to wolf it down.

The island smoothie I got was chunky due to the blended watermelon and shredded coconut so it was honestly more like a dessert than a drink, but very refreshing in summer. The pineapple Soft serve also was a very large serving but trust me when I say I finished every bit of it lol.

I'm back from my hiatus with a Korean Convenience Store Mukbang, ASMR style. Just had to 🤣 This is at CU Mart which I had no choice to like because there were 3 near my hotel which were less than 5 minutes walk from each other lolol. Loved the rolled egg Omelette :')

SEAFOOD PLATTERS ARE A SCAM...

But at least with Squid Inc theyre definitely not!!! This platter was $115 FOR TWO but it was massive and more importantly, nothing tasted like it had been sitting there for days on end. WORTH IT. As someone who only craves seafood once in a while I was honestly impressed by the quality of the seafood you get here for the price that youre paying. The dining area is quite lovely and I would recommend coming here at night instead of the day time as the fish market has a whole different feel and ambience when the skies are dark and you can see the reflection of the building glistening in the water!! Plus points MUCH LESS CROWDED. Brrr the crowds on weekends are skurry.

The Singapore mussels were not bad, the sauce couldve been a bit thicker and spicier for me but the mussels themselves were juicy and fresh. Their marinara of course is a staple special you have to get whenever having seafood - deliciously al dente.

You know where to go this summer if youre craving seafood!

📌 北馬咖喱面 Curry mee
Address: 131 Parramatta Rd, Homebush NSW 2140
Best part? OPENS TILL LATE. 5pm to 1am.

White curry mee is a must but special mention is the tomyum noodles. They have a SERIOUS kick but i loved how spicy and tangy it was. The iced milk tea was pretty litty too. The only standard thing was the chicken rice which I think you could get better elsewhere.

I Loved the tofu because its not too heavy and you could easily finish a plate yourself lol. Apparently the iced coffee is pretty good too!! Its more like a side stall than a proper restaurant so dress warm if you're going in winter!

The main draw for me are the delicious sauce options available in which to douse the seafood. Maybe bring your own bread to mop up the sauce! Everything was delicious and that sauce was moreish. Had a good kick and balanced by the right amount of sweetness.

No music cuz I need you to FOCUS ON SNACK. 😂

If you can, go when its been open for an hour or two so you get the fresh youtiao. They refried mine and it was great but I can imagine had I had it fresh!

Auntie was also very generous with the peanut and black sesame filling, and the mochi was surprisingly soft and chewy!

Credit to @food.and.grace for bringing to my attention this particular snack even though I walk past this shop so often 😍😍 Box Hill rly full of good eats!!

Ya ya dessert cups are overrated you say...but bro

THEYRE NOT. they're delicious and a real treat for a sweet tooth like me. Plus I think it's an added bonus that all the strawberries Anita uses in these cups are super sweet, generously topped and fresh, and not like the ones in the supermarkets which are already $5 a pack and on their way out😂

We haven't gotten enough of all things pistachio but I'm not complaining - the kadaif gives a lovely crunchy texture to these cups along with the creaminess of the pistachio/chocolate/cream, complemented by the juicy sweet strawberries. Consider me satisfied!
