「Sunny Bamboo House 🦞」
Bamboo-zling flavours at Sunny’s 🎋

Sunny Bamboo House is the newest addition to Central Park Mall, and a new branch of a popular Chinese restaurant chain (which includes Sunny’s Seafood in North Sydney). During their soft opening, we experienced a whopping 21-courses here 🐷. I’ve grown up having Asian banquet dinners at Cantonese restaurants, but I’ve never seen a menu offering this much food 🤩.

I can’t not talk about the star main course here: gigantic lobster served with taro (instead of the traditional lobster noodles). It was actually so delicious soaked in the lobster sauce, and our table devoured this 😋. There’s too many courses to talk about each individually, but while some were a bit average, others were exceptional and unique. I’ve starred my favourite dishes below 🌟!

@sunnybamboohousesydney, a family-owned Cantonese restaurant, has just opened up at @centralparkmall_. It serves up those quintessential Chinese banquet dishes that I grew up eating 🥢. They have such an impressive menu - you can’t go wrong with their live seafood, or tender meats. Everything was cooked to perfection 🤤. I will definitely be back with my family and friends 🥰.

I was treated to a sensational feast fit for an emperor at the Grand Launch of @sunnybamboohousesydney #CentralPark 🥢

The entire evening was filled with so many succulent dishes and fabulous friends. We started the feast with 15 dishes and ended up with well over 25 …. TBH I lost count 🥢😆 My highlight was definitely the lobster, trio of BBQ meats and sweet & sour pork ribs! Head to Sunny Bamboo House soon for a wonderful evening of dining.

Had an epic feast at @angrybbq media night with my favourite foodies. The Chinese BBQ skewers are a flavour explosion – seriously, the spice levels are on point.

IIKO MAZESOBA, DARLING SQUARE

☆ INVISIBLE YUZU TART ($8)

A crisp Shortcrust-based Pastry houses a base of White Chocolate and has a Yuzu-flavoured Jelly on top.

This dessert was surprisingly refreshing with the strong hit of citrusy Yuzu in the gelatin-based Jelly and there was a nice amount of sweetness from the White Chocolate which you find when you crack into the Tart.

If you’re like me, there are a few ways to tackle this Tart.

I would slurp up the Yuzu Jelly before scoffing down the crisp Shortcrust Pastry with the White Chocolate all over it. @_chewrious caught me doing exactly that 🤣

Another option is to simply use sheer force to break into the Tart before you take your time, enjoying both the Yuzu Jelly and the Shortcrust Pastry that has White Chocolate integrated into it.
