With acceptances from University of Florida, Lincoln Memorial, Virginia- Maryland, and LSU y’all know I had to go to State ❤️🐺 Those who know me know this is ALL I’ve been working for my entire school career. From graduating A&T 💙💛, calling 20 different vet clinics to work at (shout out Gate City 🫶🏾), to applying to different schools/ awaiting decsions for a whole year my time is finally here and my dreams are literally coming true !! I wouldn’t be here without the support from my family, friends and most importantly God 🙏🏾. I can’t wait to be Dr. Harris, just a couple more years to go 🥹🥹❤️❤️ #NCSTATEVETMED taken in Raleigh, North Carolina by @_chocollatte_

Only 2.2% of veterinarians in the U.S. are Black and I’m proud to be one of them in the making! 🤎
