One thing nobody prepares you for in the social impact space is how much you have to figure out on your own.

You start with passion.
You start with heart.
You start with the desire to solve a problem.

But somewhere along the line, reality starts asking harder questions:

“Have you registered properly?”
“Are your trustees structured correctly?”
“Are you filing annual returns?”
“What happens if a donor asks for compliance documents?”
“Are you legally protected?”

And the truth is… many founders were never taught these things.

Over the past five years, I’ve been privileged to have access to people I could ask difficult questions. Lawyers, professionals, and experts who helped me understand the legal and compliance side of building sustainable impact work.

This seminar is special to me because some of those same people will be in the room teaching, answering questions, and breaking things down practically.

In commemoration of the International Day of Rural Women, @tech_herfrica and partners launched the $100,000 RuralMarket Fund to provide rural women with non-interest loans and digital business support.

Announced at PoliServe Dialogue 2.0, the fund builds on a pilot that achieved 100% repayment and 70% business growth among rural women-led enterprises.

The PoliServe Dialogue convenes rural women alongside the policymakers and business leaders who serve them. The initiative enjoys the endorsement of the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs, which has actively participated in both the 2024 and 2025 editions

Representatives of @gtbank educated the women and came bearing gifts and @fctirsofficial and @efina_nigeria walked the women through tax laws and financial management!
