While your mates were in traffic, filing into offices, answering emails they didn't ask for, the Oga Monday cast and crew were doing what we do best… deciding a Monday morning picnic sounded like a better idea.

This is what putting a production together actually looks like behind the scenes. Not just rehearsals and line-runs, but moments like these, laughter between the work, rest between the hustle, a whole cast learning to breathe together before they learn to perform together.

We're having entirely too much fun building this one for you.

Oga Monday: The Metamorphosis — 29th August, Strobrie Cafe, Garki.

pv.rsvp/ogamonday — go on, do the needful.

A little while ago, we hosted an NGO Legal Seminar Series designed to help NGO founders and social impact leaders better understand the legal and compliance side of running an organization.

From NGO registration and governance to legal compliance and practical considerations, our facilitators shared valuable insights that left participants better equipped to build stronger and more sustainable organizations.

Today, we’re taking a moment to appreciate the amazing professionals who made those conversations possible.

A huge thank you to Ivie Ogiemwonyi, Faith Chamtibwe Jonathan, and Ebikenye Joseph for generously sharing your knowledge, experience, and expertise with our community. Your sessions were practical, insightful, and truly impactful.

We’re grateful for your contribution to strengthening the social impact ecosystem, one organization at a time. 💚

And we’re not done yet! 👀

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing key insights, practical takeaways, and memorable snippets from the sessions—so if you missed the seminar, you’ll still get to learn from the conversations.

Stay tuned!

This month, we're under Ayọ̀bámi’s spell.

"A Spell of Good Things" by @theayobamiadebayo is the book drawing us closer this June—the story we're currently reading, loving and would be debating.

Counting down the days until the weekend for our hangout and what promises to be an incredible book discussion.

In just a few hours, we are pulling back the curtain on everything NGO compliance, from data protection to taxation law.

If you haven’t secured your ticket yet, this is your sign to lock it in.

Investing in your legal structure today saves your organization from massive headaches (and penalties) tomorrow.

Plus, the bonuses attached to this session are worth way more than the entry fee.

Grab your notepad, bring your questions, and let’s build systems that last.

🗓 Tonight, 28th May | 6:00 PM WAT | Zoom
🔗 Registration link is live in our bio. See you there!

One thing nobody prepares you for in the social impact space is how much you have to figure out on your own.

You start with passion.
You start with heart.
You start with the desire to solve a problem.

But somewhere along the line, reality starts asking harder questions:

“Have you registered properly?”
“Are your trustees structured correctly?”
“Are you filing annual returns?”
“What happens if a donor asks for compliance documents?”
“Are you legally protected?”

And the truth is… many founders were never taught these things.

Over the past five years, I’ve been privileged to have access to people I could ask difficult questions. Lawyers, professionals, and experts who helped me understand the legal and compliance side of building sustainable impact work.

This seminar is special to me because some of those same people will be in the room teaching, answering questions, and breaking things down practically.

Not motivational speaking.
Not vague advice.

Real conversations.
Real answers.
Real clarity.

And honestly, this is for founders who know they are building for the long haul.

Because good intentions alone will not sustain an NGO

In commemoration of the International Day of Rural Women, @tech_herfrica and partners launched the $100,000 RuralMarket Fund to provide rural women with non-interest loans and digital business support.

Announced at PoliServe Dialogue 2.0, the fund builds on a pilot that achieved 100% repayment and 70% business growth among rural women-led enterprises.

The PoliServe Dialogue convenes rural women alongside the policymakers and business leaders who serve them. The initiative enjoys the endorsement of the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs, which has actively participated in both the 2024 and 2025 editions

Representatives of @gtbank educated the women and came bearing gifts and @fctirsofficial and @efina_nigeria walked the women through tax laws and financial management!

@laerrybluemedia has consistently been the media partner since inception, and we say thank you!

We have a list of partners. Stay tuned for the full list.
