Hi babe. Not all grief comes with a funeral.
We grieve people, yes. And relationships, identities, changed bodies, lost time, versions of ourselves, things we thought we’d have, even things we chose to leave.

🌀 Sacred Grief isn’t about getting over it. It’s a place to remember what mattered, give it room, and let it be honored without being fixed.

You don’t have to justify why something mattered in order to grieve it.

🪶 What kind of magic have you been noticing lately? by @_ciciowens

Hi. I’m Cici.

This is what you’re signing up for around here. 😂

A few things that didn’t make the already-too-long resume:

Libra sun, Aries moon, Scorpio rising. 2/4 Generator.

Slutty for living life to the fullest. Currently writing with a tiny crab pen because that’s just who I am now.

If this is your vibe too, stick around.
If not, no hard feelings.

Welcome to the Circle Collective babe.

🌀 Now tell me one oddly specific thing about yourself pretty please.

And if you’re tired of looking outside yourself for permission, I made something for you. Grab the free guide in my bio bro. by @_ciciowens

I did something very 41 today. by @_ciciowens

Babe after YEARS of looking for community, for sisterhood, I have to pinch myself that I am surrounded by so many high caliber women. (pictured and not pictured.)

But they didn’t just fall into my life. (ok some them absolutely did..) The point is I said YES. I called in my order to the universe and then I DID SOMETHING.

I created circles, I put myself out there in the world, I made the first move where I needed to. Retreats, trainings, talking to the woman next to me in line, classes, friends of friends. I wanted this with my whole heart and my whole ass and then I did something about it. And this isn’t about quantity either. This is about QUALITY.

THIS is wealth. This was years in the making and it was worth every bit of the wait. Thank you. Yes. MORE PLEASE. by @_ciciowens

(sent you some love) x Cici by @_ciciowens

Look, I spent an hour on the phone with my coach this week while she lovingly called me on my shit lol. (shout out to @rachelcuthbert )

I love growing. Repatterning. I deeply value advice, perspective, and being challenged.

Annnnd I don’t want every space in my life to be about becoming better.

That’s part of what makes circle special to me.
We witness each other.
We connect.
We tell the truth.

We get to just be with what’s there without immediately fixing it, changing it, or turning it into another “healing” project.
And as a recovering interrupter/immediate advice giver I’m practicing this outside of circle too.

How often do we rush in with advice, a solution, or our own story when what someone really needs is for us to listen? by @_ciciowens

Your monthly excuse to drink tea and talk about cool shit. ☕️

Tea & Tell is October 19!

It's basically a reverse book club, except nobody has to read the same book.

Bring whatever you've been into lately. A book, podcast, show, documentary, article, weird rabbit hole, or something you can't stop recommending to everyone.

We'll drink tea, swap favorites, and see where the conversation takes us.

No homework. No prep. Just come hang out.

Monday, October 19

Bring what you love. Leave with recommendations. by @_ciciowens

Okay babe, your turn.
What’s one aggressively ordinary thing in your life right now that your 90 year old self would be ridiculously happy to get back for one day?
Not the big stuff. I mean the tiny shit.

What came to mind first?

Thank you @sonyatrax for the time traveling day practice. ❤️ by @_ciciowens

A LITTLE SACRED SERIES UPDATE

Hi babe. Bronchitis had plans for me, so Sacred Rage is moving to December, and we're rearranging the Sacred Series schedule.

I'm holding two things at once: deep respect for my body's wisdom and genuine sadness that I won't be gathering with you tonight.

Rest is the right choice and I'm still disappointed about it. Holding the contrast, right?!

Thank you for your understanding. I'll share updates soon. I can't wait to be back in circle with you. ❤️ by @_ciciowens

If you’ve spent a long time keeping it together, it makes sense that feeling your anger might bring up the fear:
What if I start and can’t get myself back?

Sacred Rage isn’t about making anger disappear, and it isn’t about making it bigger either.

It’s about giving it space to be felt, witnessed, and expressed.

For me, when I give anger that kind of space, it often gets quieter. Not gone. Not fixed. Just less sharp and easier to hear.
And you won’t be left alone with it. You’ll be supported as you learn to stay with yourself while the anger moves.
If this is something you want to explore, you can join me for Sacred Rage this Friday, the full Sacred Series, or online from wherever you are.
