Today marks 2 years of me walking away from a career that had defined me for over 10 years. I hung my full time bartender hat up. I put a pair of steel toes on and I got the fuck busy. I have learned quite alot. I still have a shit ton to learn. The work is never done. This career change saved my life literally. All my teachers and homies I have made along the way I fuckin love you. Yall already know exactly who you are. I am living proof that a complete change is possible if you just apply yourself. I have had my moments of wanting to say fuck it and go back to being complacent or just pure anger but fuck that. This shits too damn fun. I walked into the yard on January 22nd 2024 and straight into the bilge on the Liz. Ive been crewed up all year with her. The crew im a part of is so important to me. We watch eachothers backs and teach each other shit daily. One day your homie is going to offer you a job in a different career. Its important that you say yes. by @_curlupanddan_

Ending 2025. Entering 2026. Another year has passed us by rapidly. Peaks and valleys. Ebbs & Flows. It all has been a journey nonetheless. Im just a month and a half shy of two years in my career in the maritime industry. This had been a wild ride. I have seen some bitching places. I have learned a shit load. Im grateful for all of my teachers. I left a career of Bartending and multiple service industry jobs to chase this dream. This job turned me away from a life of drugs and alcohol.
