Here's some pro tips for a good consultant.
When it's sunny and bright and they ask you to come into the shade.
If they are confident at ensuring all documents, forms, and paperwork is done as efficiently as possible.
(That' question is for if you're SERIOUS and ready to put money down)

If they asked you who is the car for, how you're purchasing and taken you on a test drive as well as asked all technical questions, give them the opportunity to earn your business.

But holler if you are unsure on a good deal for a car, especially in times now.

Or if you're uncertain on EV, HEV, PHEV and ICE cars.

Sooooo, who doesn't love a good story from the @ricsbar always a classic case of characters there.

So this bloke, he was asking everyone who was going in to rock a squirt the age old question...

Smash the girl who is keen or wait until he moves his stuff out from his exes.

He is seeing the ex missus in like 8-10 hours time to move his stuff out.
His best mates roommate wants to smash that night.

Lemme spit some facts, if you're in the conundrum of what to do, make sure you remove yourself from the ex as much as possible.

Machine and human skill when combined together create phenomenal magic. Whether you're driving rally and skidding through banks, corners and switching from dirt to road at 100-200km/h or driving on road up to 300km/h. Driver talent is still driver talent.

I don't know what track, (might come back to edit which one if im wrong) I want to say Laguna Seca, or definitely a desert style track. Anyways. These are monstrous V8 supercars.
Max Verstappen is Max Verstappen. He is a generational talent, like Hamilton, whom both are just ferocious behind the wheel.
Just raw talent destined to a race a car to their limits.

Max Verstappen doesn't race this track, he doesn't race V8s, he is an open wheel racer not a closed cockpit racer.
Although similar, very different cars and different movement, let's establish that.

He just got put into a car most likely with the same setup as each other or he just did basic tuning to favour his drivestyle.
This kid knows this track. Knows his car. And confident with this car.

Although Verstappen is Verstappen, give the kid credit. That lad gapped by 3 seconds.
Even though this is his domain and his arena. The fact that he not only kept up but also led a 3 second gap with an F1 Champion. Credit where credit due.

That lads gonna be a cool touch if he goes Endurance. by @_d.eyezac

You can either watch or read. I ain't baiting you to watch.

I must preface: if you called or visited a dealership and are negotiating on a car over the phone and you are discussing with the sales consultant on a price, if you give an offer that is well and truly below retail, it is standard to ask for card details as a form of commitment.
Please use logic: we will not fraud you. If you have contacted a dealership; an established dealership that is at a fixed location that is selling a global manufacturer whom have an Australian head office... we will not fraud you. I cannot stress this enough. Card details is standard to ask if you're giving us a wild offer, do not be offended when we ask. Please work with us. We DO NOT take a deposit until after the price has been secured and we have confirmed with you the price is locked in ffs. Cannot stress it enough.

Anyways,
So old mate was comparing to a Sant Fe or. BYD Shark 6. The Santa Fe on paper even on the numbers side the Santa Fe worked better but whatever. He was the type of guy that wants the discount AND the offer and then more of a discount. Just unrealistic.

Anyways, he gives me an offer, and standard practice across ANY dealership, I asked for his card details. He asked me why? And it's because it's a form of leverage to help me get this deal across the line for you and he says, "well I can give you my nudes but you're not gonna have that".
First of all. Highly inappropriate, and then he tries to compare that me asking for his card details is not leverage and that having nudes of someone is leverage.

You couldn't write this up. Genuinely.
Thankfully I had my general sales manager in the room and was supportive that I could walk away but I can't believe how a late 30something yr old who has 2 kids would think it's acceptable to use that as a comparison.

Anyways. Long story short. I hope old mate learns the hard way when another dealer asks for the same thing with his offer.

Just another day in sales 🙃
Please do not give us a price over the phone if you arent prepared to give your card details. Do not waste our time please. Thank you and happy friday.

It's frrrrrosty here. Takes me back to the land of the beautiful 🍁

Oynah, funny story. So as I was in the below library, this older middle aged woman saw my @stepsonpunk hoodie
And said something about actually having a proud step son herself and by golly, I did not have the heart to tell her that this is a band and not because i'm a stepson 😭

So get this. This is at the US/Canadian border. The land here in Abbotsford which backs onto Washington; here's the cracked thing aside from the legitimate dividing line across the mountains. In Abbortsford it's the most expensive farm land and the land across the border in Washington doesn't even come close.
Reason being - in Abbortsford. A literal hour an a half drive and you are in Vancouver city and across the border it's 4 hours until you reach Seattle.
It's pretty amazing.

The other thing, so around Abbortsford or Mission, there's a library and every now and then, they have the locals have a repair bee.
So like seamstresses, tech dudes, and people great with electronic builds give their time to the community to repair their things. Old mate of mine got their vacuum cleaner fixed 😂 Canada also has a pretty dark history 💀 take advantage of libraries kids.

Lets go for a cheeky lil walkies through this Cathedral trail.

Heading towards Nanaimo, there's this small little trail and it was crisp and fresh.

So very rarely does it snow on the island so seeing it like this was genuinely a treat.

The water was so refreshing, splashed my face and got tricked into thinking it was waste water and almost stopped my heart 😂
