Glow Down Throw Down 💜

Thursday 10/22 at 6:30
Type One Fitness in Norwell @typeonefitness

We’re turning the lights down and the music way up, and if the last few Throw Downs were any indication, it’s going to be loud and sweaty and a little bit ridiculous.

Bring your squad for a night at the club without the hangover. 🪩

Info and tickets at kimnelsondance.com or link in bio.

Group fitness instructor by title, entire marketing department by necessity ✨

Teaching dance fitness means one loud, sweaty, lights-off hour every Tuesday, and about 20 more hours of playlists, choreography, graphics, emails, and website updates behind the scenes. I wouldn’t trade a single one of them 💗

Instructors, tell me I’m not the only one. And if you’re local, come dance with me Tuesdays at 6:15 at Baystate Fitness in Scituate. Your first class is free.

i wasn’t sad, i just needed a room full of throwbacks, disco lights, and serotonin.

if shaking it is your therapy, you’re in the right place.

What’s the most humbling thing your toddler has told you?

i’ve been teaching dance fitness since 2018.

but this year was the first time i really started putting myself out there. promoting my own classes, posting the videos, saying out loud that this is something i want to build.

and every time, the same thought: what if no one comes to my silly little dance class?

turns out, they come. they bring friends. they keep coming back.

so if there’s something you’ve been quietly doing for years, this is your sign to go for it.

Things I’d never say out loud in a meeting.

Full-time corporate job, a couple side hustles, and a toddler. Some days I’ve got it handled. Some days I’m crying in the daycare parking lot. Most days it’s both.

Which one got you?
