Charcoal on newsprint.

Exploring space.

As a dancers, we explore space. We are never still, we are constatnly moving even if we are moving very slowly.

This is a study of a swipe from a photograph using a low shutter speed. It looks like a tornado, vortex or even galaxy.

I will definitely explore space, low shutter speed and power moves more and see what visuals can be made! by @_dejar__

There are those who you meet, and never remember. And those who you live, and never forget.

Grief comes in all shapes and sizes:

Change is a cousin of grief, whether you embrace grief it'll change you. You become more you, or you become less.

We often think about change as a catalyst for the better, but this is wrong. Change was never about better, it was about more.

Embracing grief will give you more, for that grief is a catalyst for gratitude. A chance to give thanks.

We fail to understand this hence why we attempt to go over the fence because the grass is greener over the other side. In reality, the green is green wherever you water. Where ever your present.

It is easy to run away, we do this by default. But to stay, that requires commitment, courage and willingness to embrace the change not for the better, but for more.

Grief often feels like a wild animal, but when you see it for what it is, it is you.

Grief becomes part of you, and you learn to accept it and manage it with gratitude. That is the only way. Grief is you, and to be more, to change, you must embrace yourself.

Blessed and happy are those who mourn and grief, for they shall be comforted. by @_dejar__

FASHUN 001

Took a workshop by @_connielim_ last month and here are some results.

I'm not the most confident doing portraits and so I decided to challenge myself with the techniques taught by Connie.

I enjoyed getting out of my comfort zone.

Thank you Connie! by @_dejar__
