Dear 20 something….
There’s this heavy, unspoken expectation that your 20s should be the “best years of your life”. It should be the season where you know what career path to follow, know the next steps to take, have a mater blueprint for the rest of your life, and at the end of the day when you don’t meet up to a certain standard it seems as though you lack vision or ambition. And this puts a lot of us under a lot of unnecessary pressure and strain.. Social media has provided us with a twisted narrative of who we are supposed to be and what we are to present ourselves as.
But there’s a different narrative, one that encourages us to build foundation not perfection and trade comparison for curiosity…there is no right version of your 20’s, there’s just your version, It’s like building a plane while flying it simultaneously…high stakes and no instructions, so much to loose and so much to gain also.
How about this? Instead of holding yourself to a standard you unconsciously set out of comparison and shaming yourself, start designing a life that actually fits you.. be patient with yourself, stay true to yourself and by all means stay on course, the quiet work you’re doing matters a hundred percent and will definitely yield results, and when the time is right you will see that you weren’t wasting time or efforts, the seeds you’re planting matter much more than you know.✨ by @_ediong_

2025 in pages, the end…

This doesn’t even scratch the surface of all the things I’ve learnt this year, but if I were to exhaust the list I’d end up making this a 15 part series (or more😅)
It’s been such an overwhelming feeling documenting the lessons I learnt this year here because I’ve had them on my note app for soooo long, but another thing I learnt in 2025 was the power of learning out loud. So here we are….
As “2025 in pages” comes to a close, I would describe my 2025 as the year that whispered. Because every season, every lesson, every shift and every “aha” moment leading up to where I’m at currently did not come with grand entrance, it came quietly…and changed me even more quietly.
I’m so sat for everything 2026 has to offer, and I can’t wait to build from the foundation 2025 has given me.
To the one doubting your quiet season, don’t. Some seasons may not be loud but that doesn’t make it less transformative. Some of the most important growth happens when no one’s watching, in the silent still moments. Trust your process. Give in to it. And when the time is right, you will bloom boldly.
Happy end of 2025, the planting year

2025 in Pages EP 6…

I’ve come to realize that life is patient with its curriculum. It doesn’t rush us, but it also doesn’t let us skip what we need to grow through. The same patterns, the same discomfort, the same reminders; they circle back, not to frustrate us, but to invite us to pay attention, to really look in the details. And when we finally do, and begin to respond differently that’s when the shift happens. Change isn’t always sudden; sometimes it’s in choosing differently one small moment at a time.

2025 in pages EP 5…

Sometime this year I saw a post online where Mrs Bunmi George (JBums) said these exact words: Amazing things can come from failure. When I first heard this I struggled to believe it, what do you mean failure can produce something amazing, sounds completely absurd right? But when I put it into perspective I realized failure sometimes isn’t the end, it’s the invitation. An invitation to strip pride, realign your vision and build resilience. An invitation to revisit the drawing board and fine tune your structures.
In 2025 I learned that amazing things can be birthed from broken plans. So change the perspective, don’t see failure as the end of the road, see it as a fertile ground for clarity and creativity. Let it refine you. Pick yourself up, shake off the dust, straighten your crown and get back on the road! (With love😅)

You can make an impact even in the most unconventional ways….
Your method may not always make sense to the people around you. Sometimes the way you’re called to show up won’t make sense to others, it may not even make sense to you. But purpose isn’t always obvious at first glance.
Impact doesn’t always wear a spotlight and growth doesn’t always come with applause. Sometimes the most profound lessons are the quietest ones. Trust the seeds you’re planting even when the soil feels unfamiliar, because those seeds? They matter more than you know..

2025 in pages EP 3

I’ll hold your hands when I say this…(imagine I’m holding your hands lol) Comfort sometimes is the enemy. I struggled with this, for a veryyy long timeeee! I was too comfortable, too content when I knew I could do more. Comfort isn’t always kind.
One thing 2025 taught me is that comfort, though soothing, can quietly become the enemy of growth. It whispers “stay here, it’s safe” while purpose calls “move, there’s more. Growth rarely happens in cozy corners, it lives in stretches, in risks, in obedience, in those moments where discipline overrides feeling.
Comfort may feel good, but growth actually does good. Push past that deceptive state of comfort, there’s so much more, so much potential, so much possibility.

Let the slow growth shape you…
Another profound lesson I learnt this year is that just cause you don’t see progress doesn’t mean you’re stagnant.
This year I faced the biggest wave of imposter syndrome. You know when you look around you or come online and see people doing huge things and then suddenly your quiet growth seems so insignificant. Or when you try something new and it doesn’t exactly click for you then you start to think “why did I even try”. It seemed as though everyone around me was soaring while I was just….still. But that’s a lie.
Like a tree we do not bear fruits immediately we’re planted. No tree produces fruits immediately, it takes time, it grows roots - roots that though hidden would keep it steadied even in treacherous seasons, roots that sustain them in seasons of drought. So even when I don’t see the growth, I’m not dormant. I’m rooting, and that is a hundred percent part of the process.

There’s no stage to impress…
One of the most grounding lessons I’ve learned this year is that much of the pressure we carry is self-imposed, and often unhelpful. It weighs us down more than it drives us forward. You need to embrace the truth that you’re living for an audience of one. (Say this as many times as you need to for it to sink in). There’s no scoreboard, no performance sheet. Just progress. And that’s more than enough.

I remember coming into 2025 with a bit of everything. Excitement, fears, questions, uncertainties, ideas, zeal, passion. You name it, I felt it all. It was an unconventional mixture of everything all at once but one thing I was very certain of was that 2025 was going to be a year of learning. What I didn’t anticipate however, was how that learning was to come, I didn’t know that all the lessons I was to learn in 2025 were going to be quiet revelations. There were no grand moments, no loud announcements, just seasons that shifted quietly.
Every experience I’ve had this year left me with fragments that remind me of what a landmark year 2025 was.
And so, starting today and spanning until the end of the year, I’ll be sharing a few thoughts from the lessons 2025 taught me here in a series I’m titling 2025 in pages. These are my personal reflections from my journey, they may not be perfect but they are real and I hope that in some way they speak to you and serve a purpose for you too.
So stick around and let’s grow together😊❤️

The Lord has lifted Treasure Udoette’s head, he has caused his face to shine on her and all that concerns her. He has planted her beside flowing streams and has caused her to flourish. He has exalted her horn like that of a unicorn. He has flooded her dry grounds with rains of abundance, like the willows by the water course she blossoms effortlessly…her fears have become her victory song..
This is the year of promises delivered, visions insisted on…this year we ride on the wings of prophesies, we contend for all that the lord has said. We exceed our own expectations, we break through false limits..
Treasure is blessed, Treasure is prosperous, Treasure flourishes, Treasure is a fruitful bough, Treasure is a force, Treasure is God’s own voice.
In this year Treasure thrives…in 2025 it happened just as the lord has said it!

For someone who prefers to have the details of whatever she’s getting herself into all figured out and documented( yes..documented) I’ve been winging a lot of things lately. And what has that taught me? For starters, I’ve learnt to let go and just let God…I’ve come to understand that sometimes God allows these things take time so we can grow with it…it is in this waiting time that you learn to deepen your roots.
It’s like pirates going on a treasure hunt trusting that the compass or the map will lead them straight to where the treasure lies. Of course there’s no guarantee, after all they weren’t the ones who designed it but yet they trust!
So here’s a dare; dare to trust! Take that leap of faith…and who knows the clarity you seek may actually find you doing.
Shalom✨
