So many first time experiences on this trip to the Big Island.

•Solo island hopped
•Night snorkeling with the manta rays
•Hiked inside a volcano crater and lave tube
•Watched the moon and sun at the same time
•1hr full body massage on the beach
•Stepped and touched black sand

Most definitely will be coming back to explore the Hilo side of the island next time 🤙🏽 taken in Big Island, Hawaii by @_eyetea

A couple fun facts:

- This was my favorite elementary teacher back in 3rd grade and it was her first year teaching back in ‘98.
- Won first place in the spelling bee contest from her class and was rewarded with a deck of Pokémon cards.
- The whole class had to memorize the words to the song “My Girl” by The Temptations and we performed on the last day of school. 😆

Fast forward to almost 3 decades later she is now Kayliana’s kindergarten teacher and crazy enough, she still remembers me as one of her first students she taught.

Much love, Mrs. Tavares! 🙏 by @_eyetea
