This is for all of the Queens 👑🙌🏼

First, I’m thankful to have witnessed the beautiful union of two beautiful people in a gorgeous 🏰 in the French 🇫🇷 countryside. Also, I’m thankful for the reminder that you don’t have to be royalty to be regal.

It’s easy to forget your 👑 and your worth. Remember, we’re all imperfect and there is beauty in that. Progress happens step-by-step 👣 and we have the power to change our circumstances.

This time last year 🗓️ while I had many happy moments, I was constantly stressed, I had completely fallen out of my workout routine, was no longer passionate about my job, and was trying to make a relationship work.

Little by little, I made changes and did a whole hair flip 💁🏽‍♀️ on the things that no longer served me. I still have more to do and will do it with my head up and my 👑 sitting high.

Health is economic power.

Earlier this month in NYC, the National Black Empowerment Council (NBEC) and Consensus Healthcare Consultants, Inc. (CHC) hosted VITA: Healthcare Executive Roundtable to move beyond naming health disparities and toward solutions that strengthen health, economic empowerment, and long-term vitality in our communities.

Led by NBEC Regional Director of Strategic Initiatives Florene O’Neal and CHC President Tiffany Starr McKeever, the roundtable brought together Black healthcare leaders working across investment, policy, payer strategy, global health, and government.

💜 My girls. My sisters. My family. ✨

One of the greatest gifts of this wedding was looking around and seeing so many women I love standing beside me all the way in Fondi, Italy 🇮🇹

These relationships were built across different seasons of life, different cities, and different states, yet somehow they all came together in one place to celebrate this new chapter with me. That isn’t something I take for granted.

To my bridesmaids: thank you for your love, your encouragement, your laughter, your honesty, your debauchery 😂🤫 and for always showing up like angels in my life—not just on my wedding day but throughout my life. You have each shaped me and inspired me every day.

It was precisely when I stopped looking for a husband and started looking inward that Lorenzo entered my life. 🥰

I began focusing on becoming a healthier, more grounded version of myself, not because I thought it would lead to marriage, but because I wanted to become the best version of me. 🌿

The beautiful thing is that the inner work opened my heart to so many different forms of love not just self-love. 🤍
