📍Popping Yolk Cafe (Los Angeles, CA)

@poppingyolkcafe is a solid brunch spot and they opened a new location in Melrose ✨

Love the variety of options they have on their menu, like eggs benedict, omelettes, burgers, sandwiches, french toast and more! 🍳

The Shrimp Cake Benedict was my favorite - perfectly runny yolk on top of a crispy, thick shrimp cake. The Egg Salad Fried Chicken Sandwich was also really good and filling. Both dishes come with country fried potatoes and garden spring.

The Ube French Toast was a sweet treat: deep-fried toast with ube filling and drizzled with ube condensed milk. So crispy and the filling was yummy 💜

For drinks, both the Egg Coffee and Potted Plant Coffee are great options. The Egg Coffee was sweet, creamy and delicious. I preferred this one bc I was in the mood for something sweeter, but the Potted Plant Coffee was also tasty 🌱

This popular matcha cafe from Japan is now in Las Vegas 🍵

♡ Roasted Matcha Latte
♡ Hojicha Latte

Both the roasted matcha & hojicha lattes were a 10/10 for me. Flavors were on point - rich, slightly nutty, and sweet from the brown sugar. Drinks come unsweetened so you can either add raw cane sugar syrup (at no cost), brown sugar (+$1) or seasonal fruit syrups (+$1.50). I also tried the matcha ice cream (comes as a topping in your drink but I ordered it on the side) - it wasn’t too sweet and loved the rich matcha flavor 💚

📍Jeune et Jolie (Carlsbad, CA)

4-course menu for $120 🍽️

The aesthetic, ambience and experience was a 10/10. So well deserving of their Michelin star ⭐️

📍551 Horai (locations throughout the Kansai region, including Osaka & Kyoto)

I love getting these pork buns whenever I’m in Osaka. They’re super affordable and tasty - a great snack option! Definitely get the Japanese hot mustard. 2 pieces for 460 yen (~$2.84 USD) / 4 pieces for 920 yen (~$5.69 USD).

I also like the ebi shumai dumplings. They’re made with shrimp, pork and onions - 12 pieces for 720 yen (less than $5 USD). taken in Osaka, Japan by @_gigieats

📍The Iron Press (Anaheim, CA)

@theironpress is a casual bar with rotating taps of OC-brewed favorites. They are located on the second floor of the Anaheim Packing House.

The Peach Mojito was refreshing and delicious, and it’s nice that they have non-beer options on tap. The Lemon Pepper and Sweet & Spicy wings hit the spot and went great with our drinks. The Wagyu Philly Cheesesteak with onions, bell peppers and mushrooms was savory and flavorful. 📍Rolling Boil (Anaheim, CA)

Had a great hot pot experience at Rolling Boil inside @packingdistrict 🍲 They offer both AYCE and à la carte options, which makes it easy to customize your meal.

We tried the beef belly and rib eye, both were delicious! The miso and Thai coconut broths were both flavorful and gave us a nice variety for dipping our meats. I loved the sauce options, esp the toasted sesame and “secret sauce” 👀 Next time I’d come back hungrier for their ayce option!

Bonus points for their tasty cocktail menu. Passion Daq was my favorite, made with white rum, citrus and passion fruit. They also make a really good Paloma. Eastside is made with gin, cucumber and mint - very refreshing 🍹

📍The Blind Rabbit (Anaheim, CA)

@theblindrabbit is such a fun hidden gem located inside the Anaheim Packing House. The hidden entrance is on the lower level and through a wall of sake barrels. I absolutely loved the intimate, prohibition-era vibes inside✨

The specialty cocktails were fantastic. I tried the Por Las Buenas (Spring Zombie) and the Oaxacan Trading Co (Mango Jet Pilot) - both were yummy tiki-style drinks on the sweeter side. The mango cocktail packs quite a punch and definitely worth the price - I left feeling pleasantly tipsy 🤪

The Steak Frites came with a tender steak and flavorful truffle fries. The Crab Cake was also excellent, with great flavor and a delicious texture. Would recommend either dishes! taken in Anaheim Packing District - Packing House by @_gigieats

By far my favorite meal in NYC and definitely one of the best meals of my lifetime✨

@lebernardinny is a three michelin-starred french seafood restaurant and consistently ranked as one of the best restaurants in the world. If you love seafood, highly recommend for their incredible dishes and exceptional service!
