📍Federal Coffee (Los Angeles, CA)

I got their Honey Lavender Latte with their housemade syrup. All drinks can be made pink at no extra cost 🩷 They use a baker’s dye to make the drink pink and doesn’t actually have any flavor to it.

📍Tio’s Tacos (Riverside, CA)

This is the most unique & aesthetic taco restaurant you’ll find in CA 🦋

They have a beautiful butterfly alley as well as numerous sculptures that were made from recycled items, waste material and junk. The owner took these “useless” items and turned them into beautiful works of art 😍

They sell tacos, burritos and other Mexican dishes. Definitely get one of their fruit drinks - I got their mango agua fresca and it was so refreshing and delish 💛

Getting beignets are a must when in NOLA 😍

3 spots to get these delicious pastries:

1. Cafe Du Monde @cafedumonde - this spot is iconic and one of the most famous places to sell beignets. Would recommend getting there at opening time or earlier to avoid waiting in a huge line, especially at their original location in the French Quarter.

2. Cafe Beignet @cafebeignetnola - this was actually my favorite spot out of the 3. The beignets were so fluffy and soft, they were the perfect treat. They were also featured on Food Network’s “Best Thing I Ever Ate” TV show.

3. Morning Call Coffee Stand @morningcallcoffeestand - another good spot that sells yummy beignets, but they are located about 4 miles from the French Quarter.

📍The Carousel Bar & Lounge (New Orleans, LA)

The Carousel Bar & Lounge located inside Hotel Monteleone in New Orleans, LA is one of the coolest bars I’ve been to 🎠✨

The bar actually spins (at a slow pace) like a carousel and seats 25 people. You don’t need to be a guest at the hotel to drink at this bar.

The best way to get a seat is to go when the bar opens. I showed up 10 mins before opening and there was already a line forming in front of the bar. Seats are first come, first served (no reservations).

Save this spot for your next trip to New Orleans 📌

📍ᴅᴀʀᴋ ʜᴏʀsᴇ ᴄᴏғғᴇᴇ ʀᴏᴀsᴛᴇʀs (ᴋᴀᴜᴀɪ, ʜᴀᴡᴀɪɪ)

my favorite coffee spot in kauai ☕️

I recommend the salted maple latte if you have a sweet tooth - it’s made with 2 espresso shots, maple syrup (not house-made) and your choice of milk. I got mine with oat milk and the drink was very creamy and delish - definitely the best latte I had during my trip! They have other specialty drinks as well and the haupia foam cold brew is another good choice. The foam has a nice coconut flavor and adds sweetness to the drink. It’s not as sweet as the salted maple and the cold brew itself is not too bitter.

📍ɢʀᴇᴇᴍ ᴄᴀғᴇ (sᴇᴏᴜʟ, ᴋᴏʀᴇᴀ)

my first time going to a 2D cafe and it was so cute 🤍🖤

highly recommend their black sesame latte - hands down my favorite latte i’ve had during my korea trip 😍 you can enjoy the cream topping first and then mix it into the drink. the black sesame flavor was so delicious and I kind of wish I indulged in the topping more ☕️
