Celebratory porch pictures for MADDIE 🥳 We took this sweet shrimp to her forever home this weekend! Maddie was our first deaf foster and perhaps our greatest challenge yet. Over the last year with us she has learned hand signs, leash skills and gained once unimaginable confidence. This dog is pure joy and we are so happy to share that we have found her the absolute best family. Meet Maddie

Deaf since birth, Maddie doesn’t hear the world, she feels it. She reads life through eyes, body language, and the deep connection she forms with her people. She’s already learned sign language, proving communication isn’t just sound… it’s trust, love, and presence.

Different doesn’t mean less.
With Maddie, it means more:
more resilience,
more strength,
more noticing the things most of us miss - a smile, a gesture, a moment shared.

Releasing newly hatched sea turtles through the conservation program @vivemar_ong an experience that was equal parts incredible and heart wrenching. The turtles need to be released far enough from the water so they are able to imprint and return to the same beaches when they reach maturity and lay eggs more than a decade later. They move slow and there are so many birds 😮‍💨😅 it’s hard to watch. Luckily I can report that our turtles made it out to sea taken in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca by @_gnatalie83
