First trip of our 2024/2025 season has been nothing less than epic 🔥 Lots og orcas, humpbacks, baitballs and even a very special close-up encounter with an extremely curious and playful young orca calf pushing us around ❤️

Thanks a lot to the awesome group from USA, The netherlands and Switzerland for being such good company 🙏😀 taken in Norway by @_heyorca_

I’m at a loss for words after today’s encounter. We had the rare and humbling experience of watching a young orca calf, brimming with curiosity, come close to our group, gliding effortlessly through the water as if studying each of us in turn. It was pure magic to witness this playful soul interacting so fearlessly while its watchful mother lingered just below, ever-protective and graceful. To share the water with these majestic beings, to feel their presence so near. A moment that I’ll carry with me always.

Humpbacks on the Hunt 🐋

In places like Tonga and the Silverbanks, humpbacks come to breed and raise their calves. In Northern Norway, they come for one reason: to feed!

Following the massive herring migration, we regularly encounter humpbacks actively feeding and steeling the baitballs from the orcas.

A completely different kind of humpback encounter. Wild, energetic and spectacular 💥

INTO THE ARCTIC 🐋❄️

Snorkelling with wild Orcas, humpback whales, endless fjords and the search for something truly wild.

This is more than a trip.
It’s an expedition into the wild.
Into the magic of the Arctic.
