Well I didn’t run 100.

Made it to 92.69 miles. 22hr 46min 17sec after we started.

As disappointing as it may be to have had to stop less than 8 miles from the finish, it was the right call.

Heat exhaustion was taking over and I was getting progressively worse.

This run was not a failure. Many of the guys completed the 100 miles and did it in impressive fashion.

The smiles. The encouragement. The high energy. All of it was for one goal.

Unite young Americans that love their country and love one another.

We have an opportunity to be better today because of what we learned yesterday.

These men and women who ran, crewed, documented, and planned this event are a part of who will make impact in this country.

Although I am frustrated with not getting to say I’ve run 100 miles, I am full of joy.

If I run 100 miles - my identity is in Christ.
If I don’t run 100 miles - my identity is in Christ.

Simple as that.

@epcsar Rescue Run ‘26 in the books

Thank you to @epcsar and @pp.rr.club for hosting one of my favorite races. This was year 2 for me and the environment is so exciting and full of encouragement.

The weather was unbelievably beautiful which certainly made for an enjoyable effort (here’s to having snow next year ;)

Shoutout to @norrispenroseeventcenter for hosting - yall are awesome

@torie._enos crushed her 5k with a podium finish for her age group and I grinned my way through the 10k and won!

Running will remain my passion and people will remain my love.

The first @joshandjohns ice cream mile was a huge success!

We had 45 people show up this morning and throw down a mile!

What a fun morning of community building and fun!

HUGE thank you to @kristins_tribeof7 @fleetfeetcoloradosprings for the continued support and help with throwing this together! It’s been an idea in my head for a while now and I’m so glad it finally happened!

Thank you @brooksrunning for supporting this event with shoes to try out! That was awesome!

And thank you @joshandjohns for opening your doors early to accommodate us after the run! We absolutely couldn’t have had such a fun time without your support and space.

If you came out today, THANK YOU!

I plan on doing more things like this in the future so stay tuned!

As I think about even attempting to run 100 miles my mind if full of thankfulness.

For the life I have been given.
For my family.
For my friends.
For the health I have been blessed with.
And for the joy I have in CHRIST.

There is no greater fulfillment than to be in the joy of the LORD.

Running this route will test me physically and mentally. That’s what is appealing.

I want to find out what I can do.

If I complete this run - my identity is in Christ.
If I don’t complete this run - my identity is in Christ.

And in that I have peace.

Here’s to 100.

This will most certainly be a run I remember forever
Got to hang out with some truly amazing people all night running up a mountain.
