I tend not to post most things I get up to but August was too much fun to not keep a memory here. Started it off in California helping support a bunch of absolute studs as they ran 100 miles from San Diego to LA in 24 hours. @nicksalonites organized the run with @neversurrenderusa, a nonprofit focused on inspiring a healthier, stronger, and more patriotic generation. It was an insane thing to be a part of and I am happy to have done it. A couple weeks later, I traded the California beaches for the mountains of Utah and got to spend some time behind the camera filming a velvet mule deer hunt with @tyjjordan_ Unreal country, good people, and a hunt I’m excited to share, go check out his YouTube for the video. Pretty grateful for the people I got to meet, the places I got to see, and the experiences packed into one month. August was a good one. 🇺🇸🏃‍♂️🏔️🦌

The first @joshandjohns ice cream mile was a huge success! We had 45 people show up this morning and throw down a mile! What a fun morning of community building and fun! HUGE thank you to @kristins_tribeof7 @fleetfeetcoloradosprings for the continued support and help with throwing this together! It’s been an idea in my head for a while now and I’m so glad it finally happened! Thank you @brooksrunning for supporting this event with shoes to try out! That was awesome! And thank you @joshandjohns for opening your doors early to accommodate us after the run! We absolutely couldn’t have had such a fun time without your support and space. Last weekend was a dream… Oh wait, I didn’t sleep for the whole 24 hours I was in California watching this stud run 92 miles from San Diego to LA. Simply the best @delta miles I’ve ever spent. Some footage I shot of the @neversurrenderamerica 100 - SD to LA. Wish I could’ve ran it with the boys but was honored nonetheless to be there and support where I can! Big shout to @nicksalonites for giving his all to the mission day in and day out. Guy went 70 miles after weeks of sleepless nights putting this whole thing together solely for the sake of promoting fitness, faith, and freedom in America 🇺🇸 Threw down 22 miles on foot (haven’t ran in months) and over 50 on the bike 😂 *my ass hurts* It’s always a healthy reminder that running 100 miles is NEVER easy, never predictable, and will chew up even the best of us on our worst days. The marathon distance deserves respect but the 100 mile distance deserves to be revered. All glory to God.

What a weekend man! Blessed to have been able to receive an opportunity like this! The opportunity to challenge yourself. To suffer on purpose. To connect and bond with like minded dudes. To experience pain together. To push each other. Wasn’t able to get the full 100, but 64 is still way more than what I thought I was capable of. Especially with the training I had. Extremely grateful to be able to witness dawgs like these guys. Pushed through adversity. Pushed through pain. Stuck together and smoked the 100 from San Diego to LA. Inspires the hell out of me! Get out and challenge yourself. Find your limits and push beyond. You are capable of greatness and powerful beyond measure. Huge shoutout to @nicksalonites for putting this all together and giving us this opportunity! God’s glory. Never Surrender. Something I will remember forever. @neversurrenderamerica @noktraclo
