Did you know there is a group in Herkimer dedicated to providing important programming, access to resources, and creating fun joyous queer spaces in this rural area??? @herkimercountypride has amazing programming very worth checking out and sharing around. They have parental support groups, teen nights, tuck and bind kits, resource guides, gay potluck events, and much more. I’m plugging this into my local highlight with the link to their website! Please share around if you can to help get the word out there. Reach out to them if you want to get involved!! #montgomerycountyny #herkimercounty #ruralqueers Herkimer County Pride Logo with rainbow heart over a white background and a quote by Marsha P. We have been hard at work since summer began…making music with the water, letting that inspire a two part writing class, letting all that inspire a beautiful dance class, bringing all that into my puppet class…then brewing it all together and marinating for weeks & weeks during rehearsals & cozy dreamy sleepovers as @dzelisnow guides us through creating this wonder. All this to say - thank you. I am grateful. I am excited. Please check out the @thetelegraphschool website to see all the amazing performer bios & more info! This is just a teaser. —————————————————— 🌀💧Please mark your calendars for OCTOBER 6th, 6pm, the debut of this site-specific (at the cherry valley creek, 2 Genessee Street, Cherry Valley) experimental piece focused on taking you through a dream…connecting you with water & the magic it holds 💧🌀 —————————————————— After the performance ends at sundown, we’ll be making our way to the 25 Main Collective where the community is showcasing everything they created this summer! Writing, art, pictures, puppets, etc. ——————————————————————— Through this work, we hope to call you to action to care for your water sheds actively as there are many ongoing struggles that need your help now! We’ll be handing out information on how to do that immediately in Cherry Valley & more info will be available on our site. You’re not going to want to miss this! #cherryvalleyny #cherryvalley #thetelegraphschool #experimentalart taken in Cherry Valley Community Center by @_jadeleaf_

Come join @herkimercountypride for Coming Out Day on October 8th! We’ll have vendors, resources, education, a costume dance party, an open mic, and more. We are fundraising for this event and to stock up on resources for our community - check out the link in my story! Additionally, we are seeking vendors and community partners for this event… we’re hoping to prioritize queer vendors, so if that’s you or you know anybody send em our way! Hey everyone! @thetelegraphschool and @dzelisnow have created a beautiful, beautiful project about Cherry Valley’s marvelous waterways. It’s ongoing for the summer and includes: SO MANY FREE CLASSES & WORKSHOPS! My puppet class, a dance class, sound making, and writing all included. There is an ongoing Call to Artists, opportunities to share your love of water and show appreciation, and even an opportunity to perform as a troupe!! Come join us 🎉 I’m going to post the link in my story but you can also find the workshops by googling, “The Telegraph School Cherry Valley” and going to thetelegraphschool.org. I’m so excited for all of it.
