Breck for the long weekend. The biking and hiking were of course lovely, but it was the napping that really hit.

annual trip out to the sandhills. ❤️

haven’t changed it up much these past few years, but it still feels as special as ever. still feels like pops and hux are here, and I’ll keep going as long as that’s the case.

too cloudy to do any stargazing this time, which is always one of my favorite parts. but we did get some epic sunsets, some good beach weather, and a proper campfire, which is a disappearing luxury in our neck of the woods.

Incredible weekend up in the mountains! Had so much fun climbing with these guys. Bagged my 19th and 20th fourteeners, enjoyed a couple beautiful campsites, took the new car down its first 4x4 road, and made friends with some marmots. All the best stuff. quick trip home 💟

saw some of my favorite people, heard one of my favorite bands, rode one of my favorite trails, had my favorite coffee (4x), and popped in to western nebraska’s weirdest bar. perfect.

A couple more days in Oslo:

A couple more trips to the sauna, a couple more dunks in the fjord. A couple more waffles with brown cheese.

We noticed on Friday that they were setting up for a race on Saturday; decided on a whim to sign up for it. Turns out it’s a big one - had a blast running with 20,000 other Norwegians. Kind of a random decision, but this was a pretty random trip.

Bergen! 🇳🇴

The shortest stop on our trip, though not any less beautiful. Actually, even the hotel breakfast was stunning (📸 3), as were the views from Ulriken, a little mountain we climbed up above the city. Took exactly 3 coffee shop stops to warm back up from that, just in time to take the most majestic train ride ever back towards Oslo.

Other highlights included trying smoked whale, a reindeer hotdog, and then several delicious beers, which ultimately led to a late night stop at Burger King. Good and bad decisions; it’s all about balance. taken in Bergen, Norway by @_jaradical
