Client chose to go with one of the other directions I showed them, but I liked this one a lot and wanted to share. Inspired by the graphics and the protest signs of the civil rights movement in the 1960s. Always honored to be a part of important events like this, and to see all of the advance work that goes into them. Mark your calendars now. #graphicdesign #posterdesign #mlk taken in Fort Collins, Colorado by @jarad_draws

The Pride ERG at @fortcollinsgov spreads love and acceptance every day. They needed a logo to help them do that, and it needed to have a rainbow in it. Client requests don’t get much better than that. Shout out to @heathercox903 for being the first-rate human and colleague behind this. #graphicdesign #logodesign #handdrawn #handdrawntype #typography #logo #pride taken in Fort Collins, Colorado by @jarad_draws

I’m stoked to share with you all these illustrations that I’ve been working on! These will be part of a northern Colorado regional campaign called “Keep NoCo Open.” The logo and all other materials were created by the ever-talented @gsmithcreative, who also provided the initial creative direction for these illustrations. Thanks Grant! . . #graphicdesign #illustration #handdrawn #handlettering #typography #digitalart #vectorart taken in Fort Collins, Colorado by @jarad_draws

These graphics are pretty simple, but drawing tattoos is one of the most meaningful requests a designer can get. Huge thanks to @loraexplora for making my drawings look so good (and agreeing to wear them around forever). . There’ll be more on that later, but in the meantime, I couldn’t let May the 4th go by without sharing this old favorite. The only thing that I have loved as long as I have loved design is bicycles. So when I got a chance to make a new brand for Bike Fort Collins, a local bicycle advocacy non-profit, I could not have been more excited. And even though they changed the colors at the last minute, I’m still happy with how it turned out, and happy to have contributed to a cause near to my heart. Swipe to see more! . Logo with tagline ➡️ Shirt design/front ➡️ Sticker and ankle strap ➡️ Brand guidelines/alternate logos/letterhead ➡️ Logo in action on a poster I also designed ➡️ Bike bell . In the fourth image you can see one of my favorite parts of the brand - I created it to be adaptable to all different kinds of bikes, which makes it inclusive to all different kinds of cyclists. It shows that there is a place for everyone, whether they are on a recumbent bike or a child’s bike. Swipe 👉 . When @loraexplora bought a mad libs book, I knew we were in for some craziness. When the very first page resulted in this scene, I knew I had to draw it. And when friends at @focodrinkanddraw said I should frame it and give it to her, I knew they were right. . . #illustration #madlibs #drawing #doodle #graphicdesign #designerforhire taken in Fort Collins, Colorado by @jarad_draws

Happy new year from Team Radish! It started as a silly joke between @loraexplora and I (we try to be rad but are probably just rad-ish), but of course I couldn’t resist making a graphic for it. And now, thanks to the badasses at @helluvadesignco, we have these killer patches. . Our first new team members were patched in over the holidays - future best man/brother and maid of honor/sister. Accepting applications from anyone else who gets out there and lives adventurously! . . #graphicdesign #illustration #typography #branding #logo #patch taken in Fort Collins, Colorado by @jarad_draws

Big thanks to everyone who followed this account! ❤️ While I have your attention, I wanted to share another recent project. . When @mclaughlinforda asked me about making a campaign logo, I got pretty excited. Politics are something I find myself more and more interested in, so to be able to combine that with my passion for design is pretty cool. Add in the fact that Gordon is exactly the kind of person I would vote for, and it becomes a dream come true. . We sat down over coffee and discussed creating a logo with visual ties to Fort Collins (that’s Horsetooth Rock at the top), and something that would seem fresh but not inexperienced. . I like the way this turned out, and hope you do too. I also hope that my northern Colorado friends will check him out before heading to the polls next year. .
