-Zach Fishman of Ortuzar Gallery has curated a seminal show of Claire Falkenstein. The intrepid sculptor predates Ruth Asawa, was a contemporary of Margarite DePatta, and an inspiration for Linda Benglus. Falkenstein lived in SF., Paris and Southern Calufornia. She Worked in wire, molten glass in Murano, prints and large civic commissions. - Brava Laura Kurgan and team for their epic project “Two Sides Of The Same Coin” featured at MOMA’s first-ever exhibition dedicated to the practice of information design. Here relating the human biome to global land use, a coherent distillation of an extraordinary amount of data that someone like me might understand. Paired with the exceptional “Million Dollar Blocks” project from 2006 and the other contributions from kurgan among other contributors including stamen design, a must see. #laurakurgan, @kurganl . #adamvosburgh, #danmiller, #paolaantonelli, @webdubois @ericrodenbeck @themuseumofmodernart, taken in New York City by @_jgolub
