My interview with the legendary Monica Brant on the Monica Brant show. by @_jillybeans08_

Enjoyed celebrating my niece as the beautiful bride to be. Where has the time gone? I can’t believe these girls are old enough to get married and have their own families. I’m so excited for you Hannah Rae…I love you baby #teambride #wedding by @_jillybeans08_

stage photos are in and i’m well aware these are the proofs 🤣 I came in leaner and have more separation in my muscles. I grew and improved my physique while in a deficit and I am officially in my off season. I’m up about 7lbs and scared to go past 10lbs. I’m almost 52 and it’s harder to get the extra pounds off for next season so i’m staying a little leaner this time. Big plans for next season and I can’t wait to see what unravels. Stay tuned for more muscles and a more powerful look 🙏🏻💪🏻🥰 @bodybyjimreyes #bodybuilding #bodybuilder #fitness #nutrition #gym by @_jillybeans08_

I loved being on stage with these ladies. We had a blast backstage and got each other pumped up. These ladies showed class and great sportsmanship and best of all everyone had fun. Thank you Kim for this beautiful picture @gatorkf by @_jillybeans08_

That’s a wrap for our season in competing. Jim & I did 4 shows since July and each time we improved our physiques. This was the Motherlode show in Reno and I have waited several years to compete in it and it was everything I hoped it would be. The judges were amazing and judged how figure should be judged. The vibe and venue was so amazing and beautiful and the Promoter always goes above and beyond for the athletes. I got 2nd in Masters 45+ and 2nd place in the Figure open class. Jim got 1st place in Masters 50+ and 2nd in open bodybuilding. Thank you @centerpodium for the amazing memories and I can’t wait to do this show again. Thank you to all the amazing athletes and coaches we met. There wasn’t any kaddy behavior that you see sometimes in bodybuilding and everyone was so supportive. I can tell you I made some lifelong friends and this is definitely a sisterhood in this sport. Backstage was a blast with these ladies and we all clicked so good. Next on our agenda is to enjoy life for several months until we jump back into prep in March or April for our National show in July. Back to Pittsburgh we go and try for our pro cards again. Time to build more muscle and grow like a weed. After the show, the judges told Jim and I how amazing we are as a couple in this sport. When a judge notices this and tells you how inspiring we are it hits just a little different. I absolutely love the judges for this promoter. Thank you to my babydoll for always and I mean always putting me first and taking care of me and my needs. He gets it in return but this man doesn’t have to be asked or told. I am his queen and he shows me daily. Thank you Jimmy Rey/coach man. I love you and love our fun life together 🥹🙏🏻🔥😍 @bodybyjimreyes #bodybuilding #bodybuilder #fitness #fitover50 #gym by @_jillybeans08_

Seriously on cloud 9 from this show. This was the funnest show I have competed in yet. It was ran beautifully all the way from tanning to registration to stepping on stage. I took 2nd in masters 45+ and 2nd in the open class for figure. Although I didn’t take the win I feel these judges did a amazing job and judged how figure is supposed to be judged. Bravo to all these beautiful athletes on stage with me. No words can describe how supportive, fun and beautiful they all are. One thing about bodybuilding is we all work our tails off and we all are winners. This is one tough sport and one prep can last months. The level of training, dieting and discipline is like no other sport I have ever done. Thank you ladies for all the love and fun backstage and thank you @centerpodium and @chrisminnes for one hell of a show. I will see you next year (if i don’t get my pro card in July)….also when the judges compliment you after the show and say how inspiring you are that really hits hard. They loved that Jim and I do this together. Thank you to my baby and my coach for all you did to get me thru this long season (4 shows since July)…it’s time to enjoy life for a bit and get ready for nationals in July #centerpodium #bodybuilding #fitnessmotivation #fitover50 #figure @bodybyjimreyes by @_jillybeans08_
