PSA, vegan Puerto Ricans exist and we can still eat our childhood favorites just without contributing to suffering.

This is just some of the food I ate while on the island. From alcapurrias, papas rellenos to mofongo, everything was sooooo delicious 😋

I am not a mother, but I can feel your pain as you clutch your lifeless child in your arms. I am not a mother, but hearing your screams sends chills down my spine. I am not a mother, but the silence of other mothers when they ignore the images of dead babies on their screens enrage me.

This Mother's Day, all I can think about is the immense suffering mothers in Palestine have been experiencing for the past couple of years and beyond.

Our society has failed these mothers in so many ways, and I'm sick and tired of so many people going through life in ignorant bliss. The time for a wake-up call is overdue.
