Today marks 4 years since adopting Tater Tot. He's been with me through 2 apartments, 6 foster pups, and now living in a house in PA. Tater is one of the most adaptable cats I've ever had. He's a social butterfly, a curious troublemaker, and a natural emotional support system.

4 years has felt like a lifetime, and I'm so grateful to have this crazy boy in my life. ❤️ ✨️🐱

Today I went to support a bake sale at @familiarsbk held by @alegriavegana_nyc & @labakeria.nyc

The $$$ from the sale went to supporting Connecting Humanity, a cause that helps our brothers and sisters in 🇵🇸. It was a successful event as many people came out to support! The people united, can never be defeated!

I also had the chance to meet up with some old (they’re not old, our friendship is 😄) friends @_justwandering269 and @denise_vegan90 I love y’all and it’s always good to see you ❤️❤️❤️

Shout out to @sugarbombingworld for the dope stickers! Hello Kitty never looked better!!! 🔥🔥🔥

The pastries were great! That first photo belongs to Denise. My fat butt was greedy so I ate my snacks before taking a picture, lol.

Regardless, friends coming together for common causes always a beautiful thing. thank you to familiars café and thank you to the organizers of this event. ❤️❤️❤️

After 4+ months, I can finally say I finished TNR a colony up the block from where I live 😅 (minus a few random Tom cats that frequent the area)

In early February, I managed to trap Al Pawcino and 6 days later, managed to trap Elaine, who was then brought to @brooklynkittycommittee and then adopted by two amazing friends - @_justwandering269 @_chas_city & has two older brothers!

I’m early March, I trapped Tammy (grey/white) who was pregnant & had to have a spay abort. 9 days later, I managed to trap Faye (brown tabby). She too, was pregnant. #tammyfayebakker #tammysuebakker

The last cat I needed to trap was Sue but it proved to be difficult since she avoided the drop trap and box trap at all costs because she had witnessed every other cat fall victim to the drop trap. Unfortunately I could not trap her prior to her giving birth.

Early May, I stumbled upon her babies as I was putting a shelter - they were too young to trap, as they still needed mom.

After 3 weeks of stress and anxiety, it’s come to an end! I managed to trap mama Sue & her 4 babies with the help of my amazing friend @ysabel_v after several trips & at least 7+ hour stake outs in the last 4 days + the help of another local rescuer in the area 🥹🙏🏻.

I’ll temp foster/hold onto these babies - Alexis, Lauren, Amelia, and Sam until they go to @catcafebk while mom Sue gets TNR.

For those who aren’t TNR certified, I recommend getting certified so you can help sterilize your community cats. It’s kitten season & of course, that leads to rescuers being inundated with kittens and dumped friendlies.

MONCLER IS DROPPING FUR!!!! Another victory for the animals today 🦊 And a great reminder that direct action and pressure campaigns WORK. ✊📢 Thanks to all the activists who helped make this happen and continually disrupted @moncler

Special thanks to @rachel_levy_ejsmont in NYC for organizing. Activists in our city have a voice and we aren’t afraid to use it 😈 This was years in the making.

Onto the next.
