Haven't posted in a while and I'm just.... Waiting at penndot so why not.

Here is a quick little ditty I did after learning about #mayahuel , the diety of maguey, motherhood and fertility. Like a true ancient hottie, she was said to have 400 breasts. My plans are to turn this into a block print and patch by @_kayatoast

Struggle of living in a relatively affordable apartment in an old building in a fancy part of a densely populated city... At least I can get some art time in before work by @_kayatoast

Wish you could see for sparkly she is. Hot neon summer experiment.
Lessons learnt:
Metallic watercolor is best used as an accent, not blopped on in a moment of "fuck it, put it all in" wet on wet

Don't push too hard when cutting into the masking tape (you'll see if you end up buying the original)

PLAN SHIT OUT HANA. it was tough trying to blend out the hard lines on her thighs before I decided to make her pop out of the border

My submission for the great big little art show at work!
"You've got to be KITTEN me," and 5x7" watercolor. Decided to keep the original blank, but I will be making a version with text.

**deleted the first post because the second image didn't crop the way I wanted it to**

First #pancakesandbooze in Philly in the books! Thank you for an absolutely electric time, the turn out was wild and it was so exciting to be a part of it. See you at the next one, this one will be hard to beat

Finished! Figured I'd take a break from painting sexy, slightly damp women for the Great Big Little Art Show at work to paint my grey guy!

Meet my boy Toki Wartooth, he lives up to his name. 4x6 watercolor and gouache on Fluid watercolor block
