More shots from yesterday’s call to action at the Trenton State House. @govsherrillnj ignored concerns and refused to meet with constituents over the deplorable conditions at Delaney Hall, a government run/GEO Group concentration camp operating in Newark, New Jersey, just an hour away from the state’s capital.
Staffers looked on as the governor decided to leave by a back door escorted by police.
It’s high time politicians are held accountable for their inactions on human rights violations….remember they work FOR US.
@housedemocrats When are you going to take a stand???? Stop being cowards and demand accountability from Trump and his goon squads. History will remember your apathy.

Rally in Trenton to demand the attention of @govsherrillnj.
She has repeatedly sidestepped her constituents and ignores the community’s concerns over the conditions at Delaney Hall, an ICE and GEO Company FOR PROFIT concentration camp located in Newark, New Jersey.
Citizens demand answers and the closure of Delaney Hall.
Our government is profiting off of the illegal kidnapping and torture of innocent lives. This isn’t a matter about immigration….its a matter about race and power, and ultimately the greed of a corrupted bigoted government.

mikie sherril ran a campaign on promising to stand firm against ICE and trump, yet ICE presence in new jersey has remained rampant. mikie sherril told gabriela soto at the end of this video that she would speak with her after her remarks at tonight’s demcon dinner. she left without exchanging a single word.
it is long time we hold our elected officials to their promises and ensure they uphold justice for all constituents. no more philly cheesesteak food tours, we demand real action. show up to the state house annex this monday october 5th at noon to tell mikie to do her job!!! by @_kaylaskye

martin soto is a man who was not afraid to to face debilitating torture if it meant waking up the world to the brutal situation at delaney hall. he, gaby, and their sweet children have faced tremendous suffering because of their advocacy and bravery. now it’s our turn to rally. please spread the word, call the attorney general’s office, and demand justice for the soto family. by @_kaylaskye

hello friends💙 this is my dear friend and brother ameen. he is going through a major emergency and he needs our help to get back on his feet. he is currently dealing with crippling accumulated debts, medical issues due to the conditions in Gaza, a pause in the education he needs to properly support his family, and insurmountable trauma living through this humanitarian crisis.
despite everything, he’s still remains committed to his family and steadfast in fighting through these challenges while surviving the genocide. please consider making a donation to help ease his burden. a burden which we should all share because when there are people in the world suffering, all of us are too.

the donation paypal is linked in my bio: https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/JakeBlaha by @_kaylaskye
