Active dreamchaser. Aspiring changemaker. Four words that have walked with me all my life, and today, they guide me once again.I am incredibly blessed to share that I am chasing a dream by petitioning to run for Purdue Student Body President. My heart is full of purpose and our goal is clear, to make meaningful change through servant leadership and leading others well.From my time with Purdue Student Government to my involvement across campus, I have loved every moment of serving my fellow Boilermakers. Each conversation, project, and challenge has reinforced the call I feel to continue serving in an even deeper capacity, to unify, amplify, and support our student body.Running alongside @matthewschilt_ and @la_starmer makes this journey even sweeter. For 1,784 days I prayed for, dreamed of, and worked towards everything that the last 365 days have gifted me, and my goodness did every day of this past year far exceed any expectations that I had! The love that I have for @indianaffa is abounding, but that is all because of the people that I have served and served alongside.This year met me with far more grace, love, and acceptance than I could ever deserve, all while reminding me of who God has called me to be as a leader. As much as I have spent this year serving, I truly believe that this year I was served greatly. Teammates for a year, family for life. In the words of our girl TayTay, I have truly had the time of my life fighting dragons with you. Each of you. Every high and every low was made so much sweeter and that much easier with you six by my side. There are no other people I’d rather learn how to adult with, get stuck in a pit with, or laugh until my stomach hurts with. How blessed I am to say that I spent a year living and working with the most loyal, loving, and lively humans to grace this world. You’ve made me a better human, continuously and effortlessly. I LOVE YOU. The Champions of my life. The people who have made me who I am and stood steady by my side. Those that have modeled servant leadership and Godly love. This year was made possible by the many, many people in my corner. I am looking forward to what the next 365 days have in store for Indiana FFA. I pray that it’s full of bold living, unconditional love, and the most beautiful views along the way. I can’t thank you all enough, not just for climbing mountains with me, but for moving mountains for me this year.
