I’ve been doing some reflecting on my movement towards vintage and secondhand fashion. I think it’s fascinating how your style can be influenced by where you live. Despite the homogenisation of style globally, thanks to platforms such as this one, those local differences do still persist.

I often wonder whether I would have ever gotten into it at all if I hadn’t moved to New Zealand and gone cold turkey on fast fashion.

🍉 The Kora Tees are up for grabs! 🍉

100% cotton deadstock dreams.

The fit is like a 90s baby tee style and I think true to size (think fitted not oversized). It’s a thick, soft cotton.

£20 plus postage.

40% will be donated to @gazalittlelights who do an incredible job supporting malnourished babies and infants in Palestine with milk and other nutritional aid.

Sizes 8-20 but since these are deadstock, sizes/colours are limited. DM me with your usual size and I will let you know which colours from the following I have:

OG followers will remember that I sourced these when I lived in Aotearoa New Zealand in my vintage/preloved selling days. They came back to the U.K. with me three years ago!

Heck it feels good to be finding good homes for good clothes again, and supporting an amazing cause at the same time.

Last month I did something pretty incredible; something I NEVER thought I’d ever do!

I walked a catwalk show at Manchester Fashion Week where the incredible @sustyclub were championing sustainable fashion! All of the outfits were styled by the best in the business @thetrenddisruptor and were all vintage and preloved.

The best part? Getting to see what women with a shared love of sustainable fashion can achieve when we support each other. It was amazing to meet people in real life that I’ve followed on here for so long. Also to catch up with my bestie from NZ, the DJ @milliemonday_dj who totally set the tone and had us all buzzing.

It’s taken me a while to post because tragically one of the beautiful models, Tav @preloveandreloved tragically passed away a few days later but it was truly brilliant to share this memory with her and see her in her element. She was a delight! taken in Manchester, UK by @_kora______

Just one photo of one outfit.

Everything is vintage though. I bought the top off a lady who bought it in the south of France in the 70s. I love things with a history.

Le trench is also back in rotation.

The cargos are 90s GAP and I’m still indebted to @tess__sullivan for the hint on those.

I am not being paid to say this, and don’t often accept when brands offer to gift me something but I had to give a special shout out to @community_clothing who kindly sent me these jeans (without asking me to post anything).

I was sceptical that they would fit because honestly jeans never do. If they fit on the bum/thighs then they gape on the waist.

I pulled these on and was over the moon because they honestly could have been tailor made and I have already had so many compliments in real life. I love their mission too - creating jobs by supporting clothes manufacturing in British factories again.

These are the Work Wide Straight Leg jeans indigo.

Had a blissful week in St Agnes/Cornwall and I took no outfit pics apart from one and I did not plan on posting that one either! Then I thought better of it, because I don’t want to start dressing for the lens instead of life, and also we get bombarded with holiday wardrobe advice and tbh I lived in vintage track shorts and a swimming costume I’ve had for years. Took a handful of cute clothes that didn’t get worn. As I suspected they probably wouldn’t. We mostly spent our time at the beach, walking the coast, eating ice cream and partying with the locals at the St Agnes carnival. This is a VERY fun village. We’ve been back three times now and I never get enough of it.
