In New York City, a woman escapes her daily monotony through the weekend and the people she encounters, inspired by Maya Angelou

Taking inspiration from Maya Angleou’s poem of the same name, director Michael McGrath, costume designer Mariana Guerrero Dingler and writer/actress Ajani Russell imagine a woman caught between the daily grind and the optimism of the weekend for short film ‘Weekend Glory’.
