Absolutely love these nighttime photos of Tide Portal, captured by @adrenochrome_photography who generously shared them with me. The night of the ribbon cutting, there was the most phenomenal sunset, one of the electric pink ones where no photos can capture the vibrant color. All who were there soaked it in, and marveled that the light and mural sang in harmony. These pictures remind me of that beautiful evening and I’m grateful they exist. Public art lives in its place, but my hope is that each piece creates many moments of presence and beauty. ✨✨✨ Thank you @the_fracc and especially @tracysbarbosa for organizing such a special evening❤️. And @bloombergdotorg for their support in this project. taken in Fall River, Massachusetts by @_lena_mac_

Some process stills of a recent mural install in Fall River, Mass a few weeks ago. This special project contemplates the natural cycles of the tides, the creatures moving about around us in this world we are a part of, and the magical skies and seas. ✨💙🌊 I really enjoyed creating it, had many beautiful moments in this place, and was able to look out on the ocean throughout the process. There will be an unveiling of the mural this Wednesday at 7pm (Davol Street underpass, Fall River) open to the public. I hope to be in attendance if you would like to come say hi 💖 Big thank you to: @hautedamned for these beautiful shots 🙏🙏 @briandenahy for his painting assist 🙌 @tracysbarbosa and @the_fracc for spearheading this project. Ashley Occhino for initially bringing me on board in 2023 & the Bloomberg foundation for their public art initiative and support. taken in Fall River, Massachusetts by @_lena_mac_

It is already the last few days to catch “Plus One” at @hashimotocontemporary in New York City! It’s a really varied and lovely group of works. I feel very grateful and honored to have been invited by @madeleinetonzi an artist whose work I have long admired for its beauty, care and depth. If you are in San Francisco, don’t miss her stunning new solo show! Thank you to friends who came out to the opening, and so lovely to meet new folks too! 💖💖 taken in Hashimoto Contemporary NYC by @_lena_mac_

I’ve purchased previous editions because they are so inspiring to flip through.. the stories and poems make me laugh and cry! I’m so honored to be invited to this issue, thank you @hannah_brookman.art & @lookyheregreenfield !! ❤️🫶 There is a release party and reading of the magazine from 1-3 on Saturday, June 20th in Greenfield, MA. Come swing by and say hi! ☺️ 💖💖💖 ALSO on THE SAME DAY - my *handmade* skateboard will be raffled off at @newcitybrewery to benefit the building of a skatepark for this small, sweet town. 💜 Homecoming 💜 Acrylic on panel, polymer clay 36 x 24 x 3.5” 2026 For the love of seeking / exploring / finding and the love of returning home anew, in equal parts. 💜💜 Lately I’ve been realizing that I make work in a head-first-off-the-deep-end way (which can feel kindof urgent lol) and sometimes think I know what I’m leaping towards, but often the true subject matter of a piece reveals itself with time. I love the creative process so much and find infinite mystery within in. Hope you’re having a lovely week 🫶 by @_lena_mac_

✨🌀🌸 do you believe in soul mates ?🌸🌀✨ Acrylic on wood, polymer clay 32” round 2025/26 This one has been around my studio for quite a while, I got so used to seeing it that it almost faded into the visual background until some friends came over and inspired me to finish and share it. The way I’m working in my studio is a bit slower now with a lot of simultaneous pieces, and all of the ideas beneath the work bleed into one another. Over time the pieces take on different layers of meaning, the title of this one comes from conversations with my partner 💜 by @_lena_mac_
