friday the 13th // the holy mother ❦𖦹𓆙

If you have attended these circles in the past, this year we will go beyond the stripping down of programmed fear and move even deeper into the holy number 13, and the myths and archetypes that can serve as reminders of our own paths of descension and ascension.

Through our time together we will explore Sophia’s fall and her 13 turnings toward the light, the underworld with Persephone, and Path 13 of the Qabalah, the path of the High Priestess. These explorations will be woven with conversation, chanting, song, embodied movement, an Earthly Mother ritual, and meditation.
 Fear, like a descent, will come, as it always does, whether from within or from outer programming. The choice is how we meet it and move through it, without needing to dominate another. We get to choose what we allow into our field. And there will be times it doesn’t feel like we have a choice at all. The practice is remembering that we do, even when it’s small, and then making it with our divine awareness. Sometimes that means choosing to consciously fall apart while staying devoted and connected to our inner knowing and light, so that even in the depths of despair, it remains.

OCT 10 // A simple + potent monthly TRE circle

Insight Counseling and Wellness has asked me to join in sharing this powerful and innate healing practice!

This is open to the public monthly❣️

Beginners and all levels of experience are welcome. There is something that feels deeply nourishing to have this consistent space where simply the intention is to deepen our relationship with the innate wisdom of our bodies and release + restore together!

I love you. There is no timeline for healing from domestic violence. 𖦹𖦹𖦹  For this awareness month I want to share what has helped me; moving out of isolation, the practices I began and continue to return to, understanding psychic imprints and the inner light that can never be destroyed. ❦꥟𓂀𐫱

A moment of time of light and dark resting in balance before the scales tip. Pausing and honoring what has grown within and around.

This reflection is an invitation to deepen into the language of listening. At our last sobriety circle we shared about the conscious choice to descend, to let oneself unravel and how that also wasn’t always our story.

This idea or practice to consciously choose to go under is portrayed in texts, myths and stories throughout with Goddesses and archetypes. And then our Earthly Mother, the one who reminds us of our own inner nature because we are of her. And how we too will shed and compost our ideas and ways of being.

After a reflection we will go through a guided meditation that is the opening to a chosen descent. A meditation that you can continue to come back to through this season 🍂

Ps 11/13 will be our third and final Friday the 13th this year. And this gathering that I have been offering for many years now has moved through its own composting and will be a deeper dive and practice into the holy number 13, autumn mysteries of persephone, sophia’s fall and the parallel of scorpio’s transformation as it relates to the maiden, mother and crone. @eldertreeofferings and i have been creating this together and will share more details in a couple weeks.

Until then.. I hope the pause to acknowledge what has grown is merciful and as the scales tip, you remember that the descent will come as it always does, but the choice to move through it consciously is yours.

Today is #overdoseawareness day and i don’t have many words, but I have resources to share and a heavy and loving heart, lighting candles and speaking prayers for the people who have died from overdose and their families and friends that continue to mourn 🖤

The altar photos here are just a couple of the many gatherings over the years we have come together to honor our people and we will continue remembering and raising awareness 🔦

@twntysvnclub will be sharing their new website this week and one of the gathering points here is a Remembrance Wall for anyone to share a memory or sweet words for their loved one - you can reach out to @twntysvnclub if you’d like to post before the website goes live

THE ASSUMPTION OF THE BLESSED MARY

Today we began a 9 day practice with the threshold mothers, first with Mary at her Gate of Light.

Mary, the Rose of Light, stands as a living bridge between the human and the divine. In mystical tradition, the rose is more than a flower — it is the unfolding of the soul, the spiral of mystery, the fragrance of grace. To walk with Mary is to enter the garden of the heart, where every thorn has its place, and every bloom is a testament to transformation.

Today marks the mystery of her passage into the heavenly realm, body and soul. We begin at the doorway where death gives way to light. The threshold where fear loosens its grip and the heart remembers its radiance.
