🎤✨ Announcing: Foreword at the BPS Grand Slam 2026 ✨🎤

The energy is surging, the anticipation is real 🌊⚡️ and we’re proud to introduce our next team for the 2026 BPS Grand Slam.

Meet Foreword, a team grounded in reflection, vulnerability, their poetry leans inward, asking tender questions about becoming, belonging, memory, and what it means to keep going when the path isn’t clear.

Alisha, Hayden, Sarah, and Matthew poems that feel like confessions, reckonings, and open doors.

Their work is intimate and unguarded, shaped by honesty and will invite audiences (yes, you!) to recognise themselves in the spaces between each line.

This is poetry that lingers. That listens as much as it speaks. That moves forward without erasing where it’s been ✨

The 2026 BPS Grand Slam at the iconic Sydney Opera House continues to take shape, and Foreword brings a deeply human voice to the stage one that reminds us why words matter.

Come sit with the quiet truths. Walk forward together. Hear what unfolds ✍🏽

Tickets are getting hotter and they are on sale now

Happy World Poetry Day to all our wonderful poets 📖✒️

Here's the winning and gut-wrenching poem from our March slam by @_lishaa_ex - come and see her support feature at the next slam on 9 April - save the date!

"...the only thing I feel is the pain caused by the absence of you" 💔

Will we be seeing you at our next slam?
