Happy Anniversary to my favorite person. My husband is the most patient, kind, mild mannered man in the world. He is so dedicated to fitness that he keeps me motivated. He supports all of my plans. He would drop everything to help any of our kids. He plays with our grandkids like he’s a kid himself. He is terrible at surprising me and wonderful at making me happy. National Park number 25 has been explored! We hiked, we beach-combed, we climbed trees, we marveled, and—most of all—we drove. Our tiny house AirBnB in McKinleyville had a murphy bed and a hot tub. We had a rough time finding open restaurants, but the food was great everywhere we landed. We even saw elk! Another adventure is in the books with my very favorite person. by @_long_s

The incredible sunrise views at Moonscape Overlook near Hanksville Utah was something I put on my “Adventure List” about 3 years ago. Yes, I have an actual list. I love crossing things off of it. Happy to have done this and cross it off, even if we did have to get up super early! by @_long_s

I’m thankful for these guys: my three dads, my husband, and my two sons. They are all terrific dads and I benefit from their love and kind hearts. I miss my dad so damned much and think of him every day. I love Jim and am grateful for the unique childhood he provided and the support he still gives. Byron is a constant source of entertainment and advice and has helped shaped my adult years. I am so proud of the dads Clay and Colt are to their sweet girls, raising them in a way that makes us all hopeful. And, above all, I’m constantly in awe of the patience, support and kindness Spencer exhibits to all of our kids and grandbabies. Father’s Day was celebrated by breakfast at Clays.
